T O M I J U Y U M E
After Hidou and Natsumi's little confrontation with each other, they both told us to find what happened to Aya's lost videotape. Using that kind of information, Jun could piece together what happened to her and bring her in peace.
Though, the other pieces should be retrieved by the other students to actually know who the killer is. Hidou somehow told us about the third member of the student council government that was still lurking around the hallways.
Natsumi then exclaimed that he wasn't really near their speaker room but would most likely speak to us when they're gone to scout the area. If we did encounter him, they told us that we should turn around and find another way since he would follow us wherever we go.
The only way to outsmart him is to run around in certain directions until we reach our destination. If we do fail, he would chase us down and finally kill us with his weapon of choice.
He would kill us with his katana.
"His name is Matsuko Yukiko. Apparently, he is Aya's long lost brother. We tried to relate him and the deaths of everyone around this school but so far, none of them had been connected. He was either in the chemistry lab, at his class, or at the computer lab while the incident occurs. Though, we suspected his little sister much more than him since we saw her records before we got brainwashed or something like that," Hidou explained as we both nod.
"But, maybe this videotape could only be the link we could use to reveal what happened to her and somehow ask her who was the mastermind in this mess. I couldn't really suspect her to be the mastermind since she's only a little girl. But so far, the only relationship we did find out was Aya, Matsuko and Miss Sora," Natsumi continued as we both nodded once again before opening the door.
"So, we just have to get this so-called videotape to answer our problems?" I asked as he gave me a small nod.
"Correct," Hidou answered as we both breathed deeply and went outside. We then heard Natsumi calling out our name as we turned around to face her. She gave us both a small smile before speaking up to us.
"Be careful, alright? The videotape is on Floor B. You can find the ladder down on the headmaster's office." We then gave her a nod before running down the stairs to our right. When we reached the ground floor, we saw a boy walking through the hallway.
His katana blade sliced through the lockers, creating a large mark on it while it echoed. He was looking down on the floor, whistling a tune as he calmly walked towards us. When his whistling stopped, he glanced up and gave us a sweet smile. And I could tell that it wasn't really friendly.
"Are you both lost?" he asked as Musume and I nodded at each other before going back upstairs. We both ran towards our left and went to the other staircases before going down. When we did, we both looked around, seeing Matsuko turning back around. We then ran towards the office as we saw him looking up with a smirk.
We pushed the door hastily and blocked the door with a cabinet. Pulling the loose wood underneath, we took the lamp from the table, light it with a match and went down the ladder. While descending down, I couldn't help but shiver at the coldness. Musume probably noticed it since he took off his jacket and put it around me.
"Musume-" he then interrupted me by shaking his head off.
"No, keep it. I don't want you getting cold," he said as I gave him a smile. When I finally felt the ground on my feet, Musume handed the lamp on me. I backed away as he proceeded to descend.
But, some substance fell on him, making him look up – a bit wet because of something. When I sniffed it, my eyes widened.
A match with fire then fell afterwards. I screamed in terror as I saw Musume burning alive, struggling to get the fire out of him. I suddenly fell back, feeling a body underneath me. Still scared, I just stood up – looking for anything to stop the fire on his body. A loud thud then came, making my blood run cold.
I turned around just to see Musume lying down on the floor with flames still burning his skin.
He just looked up to me and muttered one word that made me scared.
"Run." And finally, a voice echoed throughout the hidden passage.
"Hey darling, can you pick up what I dropped? I swore that it fell down there." I gulped as I backed away. Hearing something descending through the passage, I saw a katana blade falling down at the center of Musume's head – finally ending his fate. I gasped as I then turned around and held the lamp up, running through a couple of bodies along the way.
No, I'm not going to die.
Holding Musume's jacket tightly, I entered a small room as I saw a TV and a video player. I sighed in relief as I saw a videotape on the ground. Luck is really coming to me. I just hope it lasts. Picking it up, I ran back outside just to see Matsuko getting his katana back. He then glanced at his right and gave me a smile.
"There you are, darling." I then shook my head, running much deeper into the darkness. There should be another way out. I hope there is. Musume was already dead. If he was here, he would've helped me. Though, he died in the most painful way. Tears running down on my cheeks, I wiped them away and continued to look deeper.
Then, a girl appeared.
"This way, Miss!" she shouted as she mentioned me to follow her. She gave me a sweet smile as her long hair flowed and her white dress glowed into the darkness, making me feel a bit safe. When I saw another ladder, I climbed up and saw that I was in the girl's bathroom.
My eyebrows knitted in confusion as I finally ascended and saw different stalls full of blood. Why in the hell would this hidden passage have another exit and would end up in the bathroom. When realization hits me like a brick, I gasped. The headmaster only uses this to...I'm not even going to say this. Walking my way out, I stopped at the first stall.
I opened it a little bit and gasped. There stood Yuka in a noose as I stumbled back in fear. I can't believe it. Faking a suicide would require someone choking another person. I then remembered Minho dragging her outside for the dare. When I pieced the two scenarios together, I felt a little bit of pity for Yuka. I mean, she did like the guy.
"I'm so sorry, Yuka." I walked outside and went back upstairs. Opening the door of the classroom, I saw Hidou and Natsumi talking to each other. And when they both saw me, they told me to insert it on the video player on the corner. Following their orders, I put the video tape inside and we all watched, including Jun and Akio.
And I couldn't be more surprised.
