like a deer in headlights, donghyuck froze. "you go to my school?" he asked as he titled his head.

"yeah, i'm in my senior year!" doyoung responded to the latter while running a hand through his hair. he began walking towards donghyuck's side and yukhei began talking.

"i'm also in my senior year but only because somehow i managed to skip grade 1 when i was little?" yukhei laughed and wrapped his lanky arm around jungwoo's waist. the latter began blushing, but ended up getting closer to him.

"hey, yukhei?" the tall boy looked down to meet donghyuck's gaze and hummed in response. "are you and jungwoo-" "yep! we're dating." jungwoo softly darted into the conversation. he was still wearing his warm smile.

"you guys wanna go grab something to eat?" donghyuck gestured to the café he ate at last time. he truly wanted to get to know more about the 3 boys he'd just met, despite them being a bit older than he was.

"let's go!" doyoung cheered and lead the way with donghyuck beside him and the couple in the back.

"so, how's it been with my friend?" doyoung questioned as he took a sip of his iced cappuccino. donghyuck's eyebrows knotted together. "what friend?" doyoung laughed, "the one who talks about you all the time?" donghyuck finally understood what the latter meant and nodded. "oh, you mean mark? yeah, he's great! we talk basically every day!"

yukhei nodded while feeding a bit of his donut to jungwoo, who made an 'ah' sound and happily ate the bit of donut, however some of the frosting got on the corner of his mouth. "baby, you got a little something, right here." yukhei took his thumb and wiped the frosting off of jungwoo and licked it.

"can you guys, like, stop acting like this around me? you're also probably making donghyuck here uncomfortable since he's-"

"no no, it's all good!" donghyuck waved his hand to tell them it was fine. "besides, i'm going on a date this friday with my crush!"

"seriously?!" doyoung's toothy grin came back. "who is it?"

before donghyuck could say anything, the café bell sounded and their attention turned towards the door. donghyuck felt heat creeping onto his cheeks. he tried to hide it, but he failed. "that's him."

"wow, he's a cutie!" doyoung smirked at donghyuck who was still blushing. all donghyuck did was scratch the nape of his neck, trying not to look like he was embarrassed.

then, an idea popped into his head. donghyuck returned the smirk and his eyebrows rose. "i should be asking you, doyoung," he leaned in towards doyoung and chuckled. "how's finding a man going for you?"

doyoung scoffed in annoyance and pushed a laughing donghyuck back onto his seat. "shush, i've already found a guy."

"ooh, is he hot?" donghyuck was still laughing and at this point, and it was doyoung who was now blushing. "v-very. but he's more of an adorable angel than a hottie. he's kinda intimidating when you first meet him but in reality, he's just a giant baby."

donghyuck nodded and turned around to look for mark. he was sitting in the seat he sat at last time when donghyuck came for breakfast.

thoughts kept coming in and leaving his mind. he wanted to go talk to mark, but he didn't know what to expect or talk about with him. donghyuck took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "hey, um, i'll be back." he excused himself from their table.
