Leigh-Anne's POV

Perrie gives Liam a few kisses to thank him and walks over to us without looking back. Her face is on thunder, and her mouth forms a thin stripe. There's definitely something wrong, but I'll ask her later.

"Zayn, don't act like an asshole, she's nice." I hear Liam say.

Wait, Zayn?

Suddenly I get the reason behind Perrie's anger. The problem stands just a couple of feet away from us, around the corner.

I tell Perrie, without words, to stay calm but she ignores all warnings. She grabs me by my hand and wants to drag me outside. "Perrie, no. Come on. Don't act like a baby, ignore that guy," I say, but she doesn't care. "Leigh, please. Don't do this. I want to go."

I shake my head and pull my hand away. Jesy and Jade look confused at us and I mouth 'problem', but their gaze stays the same.

"She's nothing but a prick. An annoying little diva." Zayn spits the words out.

Perrie hears it and turns red. I don't know if it's out of anger or sadness. As I see she balls her hands into fists, I get it's out of anger.

I grab her hand and squeeze it, but she looks away.

Jesy and Jade seem to notice it too, and look at us. Jade gestures to the door, and I nod.

I can literally see Perrie think, 'fucking finally'.

Jesy, Jade and I walk over to Liam to thank him. Perrie waits in the hallway. She wouldn't come with us because, I quote, 'If I see Zayn's face again, I'll stab him'.

Jade gives Liam a few kisses and thanks him for everything. "It was nothing," he says. "If you ever need help again, please call me." He hugs Jade in an amiable way, it's lovely to see.

"Thank you, Liam. You did a lot for us, even though I probably said it already a hundred times," I say.

Zayn's gaze is confused, he's probably asking himself what the hell is going on. Okay, this situation might sound very serious, a bit dramatic even, but it is a bit like that, right?

"It's amazing you just helped us, you didn't even want to know why we-"

Jade interrupts Jesy. "Liam, I'll call you later to explain everything. But now we really need to go."

I laugh as I see why Jade wanted to go suddenly. Perrie stands with her arms crossed, her face still on thunder and shaking from anger in the doorway. I can imagine the fume coming out of her ears.

She looks at Zayn, and if a stare could kill someone, Zayn would be dead. Absolutely.

Zayn just stands there, grinning. He mouths the word 'prick', and Perrie grows angrier with the second.

"Let's go girls, before you have to clean blood from the floor, because someone in this room, murdered someone else in this room." Perrie whispers. No, she doesn't really whisper, the hate is cristal clear in her voice.

Jade, Jesy and I thank Liam one last time and leave the house. I squeeze the folder close to me, to be sure I won't lose it.

After Jesy closed the door, we lean in for a group hug. "We're one step closer to our memories, let that sink in. With everything we do, we come closer to our dear lost minds."

We stay silent for a while, but then we realize we're still standing in front of Liam's house. Awkward.

Perrie and I walk to our car, and Jesy and Jade walk to theirs.
