"No. I'm not going. You can't make me go Harry."
"Yes I can. And I will."
I glared at him, he stood with his arms crossed, blocking my retreat back into the bathroom.
"I don't want to go. My ribs hurt I'll just say I was sick." I pleaded.
"Well I'll carry your bag then. Come on or we'll miss breakfast."
"Fuck you." I mumbled under my breath.
Luna had healed my ribs which she reckoned were broken, she tried her best to heal my face, the swelling went down and she fixed my nose, but I was still covered in bruises.
Hermione said even Madam Pomfrey wouldn't be able to get rid of them. Great.
"But look at my face! Everyone will be looking at me!" I sounded whiny. But hey, anything to get me out of this.
"So what? Everyone already looks at you! You're fucking good looking! Deal with it." Harry was waving his hands about the air like a mad man.
"You think I'm good looking?" I couldn't help the smirk that slipped onto my face.
"Shut up.. come on or I'll break your nose again." Harry pushed me towards the door, I scowled at him and pushed it open.
"What the fucks in your bag it weighs a tonne!" Harry exclaimed as we headed down the stairs to the great hall.
"Oh.. I forgot to take the books out for subjects I don't have today."
"You what? So I'm carrying this for the shits and giggles of it."
I laughed and nodded, jumping down the last few stairs and joining onto the train of people filing into the Great Hall.
"Hey. Let's sit at the Slytherin table today." Harry suggested. And I knew why. They would be at the Gryffindor table. Part of me wanted to murder them, the other part remembered my promise to myself at the start of the year. Avoid any and all useless feuds.
Especially now that I had been brought to the spotlight again, I didn't want to risk this making the Daily Prophet.
"Yeah sure." I agreed. Pretending I hadn't realised.
We quickly walked over to the table, winding through the crowds of students, I kept my head down, I don't want to cause any commotion.
I let out a deep sigh when I sat down beside Pansy. Who hugged me taking me by surprise.
"Hey pan, you alright?"
"Me? I should be asking you that!"
"Well I'm fine. Don't worry."
She looked unsure, but returned to her conversation with Luna.
I wish she had worried. I'm not fine. But I'm a good liar, I just have to find a way to believe my own lies.
