Harry's P.O.V:

Draco sat quietly in the aged armchair beside the common room fire.

Nimble fingers playing idly with the loose threads on the arm of the chair, gently picking at the undone seams.

He appeared to be completely consumed in thought, staring at his shoes as his hands moved absentmindedly.

He twist the small threads, pulling them gently out of the knots they had become tangled in over the many years that the chairs had been used.

"Draco?"

He looked up at me, his face unreadable.

"You wanna go for a walk?"

He raised an eyebrow but nodded slowly, looking me up and down as if to check for injury.

I rolled my eyes gently and paced the short distance between us stretching my hands out towards him.

His pale fingers grasped my own, and I pulled him to his feet, he let out a short chuckle as he stumbled to gain balance.

I kept ahold on his hand, and led the way out of the common room, smiling gently to anyone that mumbled greetings on our way past them.

With my arm now around his waist, we walked slowly down the almost empty corridors.

"Are you okay Harry?" He asked, looking at me intently.

"Yeah. Well no. Not really. You're worrying me sick Draco. I know I shouldn't feel like this, but when I take my eyes off you for more than a second I'm scared shitless that something will happen to you." I said, and felt Draco tense slightly.

"I'm not good for you Harry. I'm really not."

I stepped in front of Draco, turning to face him, causing him to stop walking. My hands moved to clutch his arms.

"Listen to me please. You're right. You're not good for me, and I'm not good for you either. We're both horrendously bad for each other. Sometimes. Rarely." I said, letting out an exasperated sigh.

"But Draco, we're fucking amazing for each other ninety nine percent of the time."

He smiled gently, and nodded.

"So c'mon. We can't stand here all day hey?" I said after a brief pause.

I trailed my hand down his arm, and wound my fingers through his, gently tugging on his hand, leading him away from our idle spot.

"We should pack when we get back up, since we're leaving in the morning." Draco said, breaking the silence.

I hummed in agreement, and gave his hand a gentle squeeze.

A/N:
So it's a very long overdue chapter, and sort of a short filler, so sorry for that. But I'll get the chapters (that are set over Christmas) up soon, even though it's a bittttt late.

So sorry but you're going to have to re-experience Christmas (if you even celebrate it) from a drarry perspective!!

So over and out,
