I woke up to an obnoxious tapping on the window beside me bed. I groaned and rolled over, pulling my duvet up over my head.
The tapping got louder and more persistent.
"Fucking hell Malfoy don't open the window or anything. I'll just get your post." Harry grumbled from his bed.
I sat up against the headboard, and Harry unlatched the window, letting the owl in.
"It's from your mother."
"Mother? But she owled yesterday.. why would she be writing again?"
Harry shrugged and handed the letter to me. I ripped open the envelope and he offered the owl a treat.
I quickly scanned the letter;
Dearest Draco,
I know that your father and yourself, are not on the best of terms, but he misses you greatly.
I payed a visit to the new prison yesterday afternoon, I'm sure it's not ideal for either of us, but your father is desperate to speak with you.
If you change your mind and decide you want to visit him, just owl me and I will send the address.
I hope that you are well.
Much love,
Your mother x"Shit." I mumbled under my breath. I don't want to talk to him.
Or even look at him.Not after what he put me through. He's not a good father. He was never cut out to be one.
"What's wrong?" Harry sat down on the edge of my bed.
I just handed him the letter and watched as his brows furrowed and he too took the information in.
"Are you gonna go?"
I shrugged my shoulders, letting out a deep sigh and resting my head on the headboard.
"I don't want to. I really don't. But maybe I should listen to what he has to say.. I don't know."
Harry grabbed my hand and gave it a small squeeze of reassurance. I smiled half heartedly at him and turned my gaze to the small owl still perched on the windowsill, no doubt still waiting for a return letter.
Merlins beard, what am I gonna do now?
