Hermione dropped a daily prophet onto the table infront of me.
"What's that for 'Mione?" Harry raised the question before I could even open my mouth.
"Read it." She demanded.
I picked the paper up and unfolded it, my heart dropping as I took in the photo on the front page.
My father.
The title read;
LUCIUS MALFOY SET FOR RETRIAL NEXT WEEK
"Shit. Fuck what is he thinking? He can't be re-trialed for something he's guilty of."
"He has the right to retrial." Hermione spoke out.
"I'm not going." I stated, "There's no way in hell I'm standing up for that cunt."
"Draco.. you're probably going to have to. He's your father. But he might not request you stand for him." Hermione replied, chewing her lip in thought.
I looked over at Harry was was reading the article.
"It says here, that you haven't been summoned. It says your mother, McGonogall , Cornelius Fudge, Umbridge , and a few others have been called."
I sighed in relief. Hallelujah.
The bell rang just as I had opened my mouth to speak.
"I've got a free now." Hermione said.
"Same."
"I don't. I have divination." Harry spoke.
I shook my head. "Why did you even take that class? She's mental!"
Hermione laughed and agreed as Harry scowled.
He said bye to Hermione and kissed my forehead,
"Bye Harry." I said.
"Bye Draco. I'll catch you in potions then yeah?"
I nodded and smiled as Harry left the hall, joining Luna at the bottom of the table, walking with her out of the hall.
"Draco let's go back to the common room, I have a few bits of homework to finish."
"So do I Hermione. Pansy! Are you coming to finish homework?" I called across the table.
"No. I'm gonna stay here with Luna for a while! Thanks though."
Pansy returned to her conversation after replying.
"They're so fucking cute together aren't they?" I said to Hermione as we left the hall.
"Yes they really are. Are they official yet?"
"I don't think so."
