(A/N so yeah the book was meant to be finished but there's a whole summer to keep writing so I may as well!!!)

"SHUT UP WILL YOU!" I screamed, letting out an angry breath.

The room went silent and all eyes landed on me.

The fire crackled in the thick silence, and I looked anywhere but into the eyes of the rest of the group who were sitting in a huddle in the common room.

"It doesn't matter who it was or what they want. They won't be able to get in again so why don't you do me a favour and shut up about it!" I said, lowering my voice.

"We're just worried about you mate, honest." Said Ron.

I let out a dry laugh and scowled at him,  "Yeah sure you are. Well you have nothing to worry about, I've survived on my own long enough I don't need all of you!"

I looked around at the group of people, and unsurprisingly I wasn't met with a feeling of guilt.

Who am I kidding? I'm still a prick and I can't help it. This is my business, I'm not worried about it.

They can try to take me if they want, they can go right ahead and knock on my door and I'll just follow them right out for all I care.

I took another sip of the bottle of firewhiskey I was clutching, and stood up.

"Draco wait!" Hermione called, and I heard Harry mumble something to her.

I slammed the door of my dormitory behind me, and threw myself onto an armchair.

I took another gulp from the bottle.

The door opened and closed softly and I looked up to see Blaise walking towards me.

He took the bottle from my hands and sat down opposite me.

"What do you want." I spat.

"You're a right git when you drink this you know?" He said, with a trace of a grin on his face.

"Have you only noticed this now?" I asked.

"As if. So...do you want to talk about what's happened?" He asked, not so smoothly changing the topic.

"Not really, I knew something like this would happen eventually, so it didn't come as a shock." I said, trying to reach for the bottle but he moved it further from me.

"Well, I think you should be careful, just in case they get in again." He said, concern laced in his voice.

"I'll be fine Blaise, thanks though. I'm tired it's been a long day, do you mind if i just go to bed?" I asked, knowing that he would leave it.

"Yeah, see you in the morning mate." He said, and left the room, taking my bottle of firewhiskey with him.

I rolled my eyes and took a new bottle out from under my bed.
