Chapter 7: My Butler Goes to School

Hiromi was awakened by someone’s voice the next morning, “Ojou-sama, it’s time.” Hiromi opened her eyes gently and she was startled to see her butler’s face so close to hers that early in the morning. Kaoru backed away a little realizing this and smiled at Hiromi saying, “Ohayou guzaimasu ojou-sama.”

            “Hai, ohayou guzaimasu,” Hiromi said blushing upon remembering the scene in the clothing store yesterday and the scene just now. Hiromi looked at her wall clock to avoid Kaoru’s gaze and said, “I guess I have to prepare myself for school now.”

            She stood up and immediately went to the bathroom without another word, trying to calm herself down ‘cause for some reason, her heart kept racing at that moment.

            Meanwhile, Tetsuya was already having breakfast without his cousin. He got too excited that day and woke up too early for school.

            “Ne Mr. Hiro, are grandpa and uncle not coming down for breakfast today?” he asked curiously.

            “Mr. Kokubo already went to the office sire and grandmaster can’t leave his room. He’s quite fragile you see,” Mr. Hiro said honestly.

            “Then can I go and see grandpa before I go to school today?” Tetsuya asked again.

            “Yes actually, Mr. Kokubo and the grandmaster told me to grant you permission when you asked for Hiromi-sama however, her father forbids it,” Mr. Hiro said sounding quite sad of what he just said.

            “’Cause of Takeshi-kun?” Tetsuya said and Mr. Hiro just nodded at him as if he doesn’t want to say any more of it.

            Tetsuya just sighed then and went back to eating. After a while, he was finally joined by Hiromi and her butler. Hiromi flopped down to the chair right beside her cousin and began eating immediately.

            “You look like you’re not in a good mood,” Tetsuya said curiously.

            “Cause I still can’t understand why I have to transfer school in another country. I’m fine with my old school,” Hiromi said grumpily as she ate.

            “Yeah, you’re really fine being bullied and harassed all the time just for being rich,” Tetsuya answered sarcastically.

            “It makes me stronger,” Hiromi said flatly which made Tetsuya sigh and say, “Well we’re here already. You can’t do anything about it now.”

            After a few more while, they were finally off to school. Hiromi looked back at their Elizabethan mansion thinking it will take her a few more weeks or months before she sees it again. Their school is a boarding school you see. Meaning the students live in dorms inside the school premises.

            It took them an hour drive just to get to the school from the city so when they arrived there, Tetsuya was so tired from sitting too much that the first thing he said was, “Damn, my bum hurts,” which made everyone laugh including Hiromi but when Hiromi gave the place a 360° look, she frowned again. I don’t fit here. She thought to herself.

            “Ojou-sama daijobo?” Kaoru asked curiously, seeing the expression upon Hiromi’s face. Hiromi looked at her and smiled saying, “Hai daijobo desu.” She tried to hid her sadness and just pretended to be alright for the sake of her cousin and Kaoru who’ll probably be worried again if they knew.

            “Let’s go the hall?” Hiromi asked her cousin and Tetsuya just nodded excitedly. Hiromi faced to Mr. Hiro then who came along to drop them off in replacement of Mr. Kokubo.
