It was a beautiful Sunday morning. It is finally spring time and the flowers are blooming beautifully in the Kokubo’s Japanese inspired villa but somewhere in that beautiful century mansion, Hiromi was sobbing lightly as she knows what awaits for her that day.

“Hiromi-sama, they are waiting for you in the gates,” the twin butler said to her when they approached her. Hiromi wiped the tears on her face as she stood up and went outside to see him.

“Take care you little wimp,” his cousin Tetsuya was saying as he was messing up Takeshi’s hair.

“Thank you master Tetsu,” Takeshi said with a smile on his face.

“Nii-san, don’t forget to call okay?” Said the youngest among Takeshi’s brothers.

“Hai! And when I get back, I’ll bring you lots of chocolate,” Takeshi said as he pinched his little brother on the cheeks lightly.

“Don’t try and get a girlfriend their okay? Mother doesn’t like those American ladies,” Ruka said as he approached him and Takeshi just laughed but his laughter soon died down as he saw Hiromi’s face, looking awfully sad.

“You can still tell me to stay if you want me Hiro-chan,” Takeshi said as she approached Hiromi. Hiromi furiously shook her head and smiled at him saying, “No! Go and aim for your dream Takeshi. I know you’ll become a great chef. And when you get home, you can make great food for our restaurant and everyone will love your food,” Hiromi said happily even though she really hates sending him off.

            ‘Hai!” Takeshi smiled happily.

“Well you better get going now. You don’t want to be late for your flight,” Hiromi said again. Takeshi pulled her in his arms and hugged her tightly for awhile. “Take care always ne Hiromi-chan? I’ll be back before you even know it,” he said and he finally let go of Hiromi’s hand. They all waved him goodbye and before they all knew it, he was gone.

I know you’ll be able to reach your dream Takeshi. I believe in you. Hiromi said happily as she watched him go.

“I hate this day, it’s too sad.” Tetsuya said as he went near Hiromi.

“Yeah, but everything happens for a reason,” Hiromi answered.

“You also got that letter right…from Kaoru,” Tetsu asked confusingly and Hiromi just nodded and docked her head.

Tetsuya looked at Hiromi confusingly wondering why she’s not talking anymore but after quite some time, she heard him sob and he knows exactly why.

“Hiro-chan, I’m sorry. I’m sorry I have to bring that up,” Tetsuya was saying as he hugged her cousin tightly.

Why? Why do they both have to go on the same day? Why does he have to leave me like this now that we are open to love each other? I know he’s only trying to reach his dream, to help his father, to become part of the Oda family again…but it’s too soon for him to leave me. I don’t want him to go. Hiromi thought to herself as she broke down in her cousins’ arms.

Meanwhile Kaoru who was now in an airplane bound for Australia can’t help but sigh as he stared at her only picture of Hiromi on his phone…a picture he stole from the internet. I’m sorry Hiromi. I’m sorry I have to leave for awhile. But I promise I’ll come back. You know that, you know I don’t break a promise. Please…wait for me. He thought to himself as he was looking at the photo. As the plane started to take off, all he can think of is her and only her.
