Chapter 13: My Mistress' Reunion with her First Love

          When their class ended that day, it wasn’t that hard to find who they were looking for anymore. All they had to do was follow a wave of students as they all went to the school entrance. Everyone was probably curious what the guest looked like.

            Hiromi, Tetsuya and Kaoru arrived there just in time to see the grandmaster get out of the limo with a smile and immediately shaking the dean’s hand as if they were old friends or something.

            “Mr. Kukobo, welcome!” The dean said warmly and the grandmaster responded with a huge smile on his face saying, “Thank you, what a great honor to be here.”

            “It’s our pleasure to have you,” the dean answered and added, “Let’s step into my office shall we?”

            “Of course, of course,” Mr. Kukobo said with a laugh as he started to follow the dean inside the building but as he noticed some familiar faces on the crowd, he stopped.

            “Takeshi,” he called out and one of his butler’s immediately appeared right beside him saying, “Grandmaster?”

            Mr. Kukobo immediately pulled out two envelops then and handed it to his butler saying, “Give this to those two will you?” He pointed out to Hiromi and Tetsuya who were both at the crowd before he started walking away.

            The shock on Takeshi’s face was very obvious when he got a glimpse of Hiromi’s face. He was so shocked that he even mouthed her name unconsciously, not knowing that Hiromi could understand what he just said.

             He slowly went over to them, his face flashed and his eyes focused on Hiromi. For some reason, it was as if he didn’t even know it was possible that they’ll see each other again.

            “Hi-sashi-buri,” he said, voice shaking.

            Hiromi just giggled. Somehow seeing Takeshi there in front of her at the moment took away all of the stress and worries she’d been having.

            “Nani kore? It’s just a stupid party invitation. I thought it was money!” Tetsuya shouted disappointingly as he was finally able to see what was inside that envelop their grandpa gave them.

            “Are you sure it’s safe to leave Hiromi with him?” Kaoru said worryingly as he was looking at Hiromi and Takeshi who were taking a stroll at the school’s garden.

            Tetsuya decided to join Kaoru at the balcony of his room and see what his cousin was up to for himself but he was more worried of Kaoru’s feelings actually.

            He put his arm around Kaoru and said, “Daijobo ga. Takeshi won’t dare hurt Hiromi. He loved her after all, just as much as you love her now.”

            “Huh?” Kaoru said shockingly at first but then he just giggled and said, “Nai, nai, nai, nai! Of course not. You’re wrong! I’m not in love…” But he wasn’t even able to finish his sentence as Tetsuya immediately cut him off saying, “You don’t have to deny it. I can tell.”

            Kaoru just inhaled deeply then as he leaned on the railings of the balcony and said, “It’s that obvious huh?” He giggled at the thought that everyone else seemed to notice but him.

            “Wait! Don’t tell me Hiromi-sama can notice this too…my feelings?” He said in a sheer panic when he realized the possibility.

            “Don’t worry. Hiromi’s pretty much oblivious. She might even take it as a joke even if you tell her this moment,” Tetsu said with a chuckle.

            Kaoru sighed again and said, “Hiromi-sama, she looked like she’s still in love with Takeshi-kun though.”

            “I think so too. Hiromi’s not the type of person to forget easily you know. What she and Takeshi used to have was really precious too,” Tetsuya said as he turned around to look at Hiromi and Takeshi once more.

            “But don’t give up on my cousin okay? It will look like history repeats itself but I feel like your love story will have a better ending than her love story with Takeshi,” he added with a smile on his face.

            “How can you say that when she doesn’t even know my feelings yet?” Kaoru replied in dismay.

            “I can just tell and my instincts are always right you know,” Tetsuya answered proudly as he gave Kaoru a little wink. It’s just getting started. He thought to himself.
