I never want to forget this feeling. That's why I'm writing it down. Sara will be going home, soon--or, back to Australia. She says I'm her home, now.
Right now, I'm on the couch with her. She's fast asleep, one hand on my head, which is resting on her leg. The steady calmness of her breathing is lulling me to sleep. Inhale... pause... exhaaale... pause...
I love her. I love this. I never want it to end. Maybe it doesn't have to.
