Well, it didn't take long. Trent asked about Elise. I immediately told him she's aggressive and inconsiderate, so, naturally he steered clear of her.
Just kidding. They definitely hooked up. And then she brought one of his friends to bed. What the hell kind of camp is this? I hate it.
I've been spending all of my free time doing extra chores to distract myself from my situation. I help strangers mop the floors, I volunteer for additional latrine duty, and I always stay back to clean dishes, even when it's not my turn to clean them.
I'm not sure how long I can keep this pace going. I'm exhausted. My muscles are sore. My heart aches. I still have five days (I think?) before my one-on-one with the colonel. Hopefully I can keep distracting myself until then.
