[Pic is Sage]

The cold of the winter air nipped at my cheeks as I opened my front door and walked outside. It was the middle of November and already freezing.

I managed to push myself away from the door of my home, away from its warmth and safety, and for what? Fucking college classes. Worse, I had to walk to the college grounds. I never got my drivers license and my roommates took later classes so I didn’t want to be a bother by asking them to wake up early just to drive me to mine.

I noticed a few werewolves while I made my way toward the school entrance who were horsing around outside it’s doors. I admired how it wasn’t as easy for them to get cold, among other things.

Upon reaching the entrance doors I raised my hand to the door knob before being roughly pushed away by a flying werewolf.

“Jeez Brett watch where you’re throwing! You could have seriously hurt her!” A female yelled toward the guy I’m assuming is Brett.

She ran to me and helped me to stand up. “You alright there?” I nodded and held my head high as the other wolves laughed.

“Yeah...I’m fine...” I mumbled as I took a better view at the female in front of me. She had beautiful tan skin with blonde hair and green eyes. She wasn’t much taller than me. I am 5’2 and she must have been 5’5 or something.

“Sorry girl, I didn’t see you there. I was busy messing with max.” One of the guys chuckled pointing at the guy who was thrown at me.

I turned my attention to the guy named max and shook my head walking back to the doors. I was a lot colder now compared to earlier so I just needed to get inside.

I sighed in relief when I was inside and warm. I could have stayed home today, but I really want to concentrate on my schooling. For what? No fucking clue.

All I know is I want a good job after college, so for now I am just taking core classes. Science, math, English, etc. There is even a werewolf class here.

After werewolves came out as existing creatures and got equal rights as us humans they opened the new class for werewolves. It helped them learn how to gain control of their wolf if needed, along with basic survival. I may have eavesdropped in on one of their classes once.

The halls were like a war-zone. They created the college to fit the werewolves sense of hyperness and destruction so the halls were wider, but it’s not helping. In fact, I think it made them worse. The halls were filled with werewolves horsing around by throwing each other, fighting, etc. Pretty much everything.

You almost couldn’t take 5 steps without having to take 2 back just to dodge them, but at the same time I like having werewolves openly existing now. It must suck having to hide your true self and now they don’t have to.

I’ve learned a lot watching them and their groups. Sounds creepy, I know, but it’s true. If you watch their behavior, you learn a lot.

Walking to class I ran into someone causing a low growl to come from him. “Watch it human.” He moved past me and kept walking. I noticed his eyes, which were normally blue, were now gold. This was a werewolf trait that occurred when their wolf is scratching to get out.

What pissed him off today? I watched him leave and turn a corner. He walked with power, but I am not sure if that’s because he’s an alpha or because he’s pissed. Either way it was hot.
