"Alright lets get started. The pack up North was attacked leaving only the pups." Damon spoke up. I sat in the seat beside him as I watched him talk to the other alpha's in the room.

"I've talked to some of the pups not all can remember since they were ether hiding or scared. But the few pups who do have information all had one thing in common. There was a lot of wolves there. Enough for a pack or group of rouges." One of the alpha's spoke. I believe his name is Kent.

"Does anyone know if the North pack had any enemies?" everyone shook their heads at Damon's question. "Is there a guessed number or anything?"

"Half said around 5 to 10 the other half said 10 to 20." Rinna answered.

Damon groaned at the lack of information. "If it was a pack there was no motive unless to make their pack bigger.. but if that were the case they would have taken the pups with them.. If they were a group of rouges why wouldn't they have killed the pups as well or taken them? where would they even have the strength to do it?"

I looked at everyone in the room. All looked lost in thought while they trying to figure out what was going on.

The meeting ended early with little answers and the alpha's along with their mates headed back to their packs. I ended up finding Damon sitting in his office alone so I opened the door and stepped in causing him to look up from his papers and at me smiling.

"Hey... has anyone checked on the territory after the attack?" I questioned and he looked at me his eyebrows knotting together in confutation.

"No why?"

"It's just... I get the sight is unsettling but like cops maybe we should go investigate the bodies. See what we can find maybe we will find a clue or something." He raised an eyebrow at my suggestion before shaking his head.

"Not safe. If they took down a entire pack what's to stop them from coming back and attacking the next pack that goes there?" I bit my lip at his answer. He's not wrong. If we sent a few wolves down they would be weaker then that pack used to be. And what's gonna stop them from coming back to that area?

I sighed and leaned against the wall. He stood up and walked over to me wrapping his arms around my waist as he pulled me close. "We will figure something out. And we will end this."

I nodded and hid my face in his chest causing him to rub my back. "I don't want anymore packs to die..." I mumbled and he sighed nodding.

"Nether do I my angel. Nether to do I." He lifted up my head so I was looking at him and leaned down kissing my lips softly. Finishing the kiss he smiled at me and moved my hair from my neck looking at my mark. "The bruising went down. But you're still pale." he sighed. "How have you been feeling recently?"

"Hungry, moody, I have to fight to not throw up when I shower." He sighed and nodded.

"Have you been training like I told you?" I nodded. He told me I needed to train along side his beta and Nora so I could be strong enough to survive the shift but to be honest I have been finding it harder to train then I would usually. This mark is gonna be the death of me. Literally.
