The Rejected

I stared in awe at the girl beside the man. She was gorgeous. Long red hair that hit her lower back. Grey crystal like eyes that would make any man fall for. The woman must have noticed me staring because she let out a small giggle.

I snapped out of it and looked away feeling my face warm up. "My names Rinna. Nice to meet you Sage."

I nodded at her and smiled. "Nice to meet you Luna Rinna." She shook her head at me after hearing my words.

"Please just call me Rinna." I nodded and she smiled before wrapping her arm around her mates. "This is my husband Jaxx. You don't need to call him alpha Jaxx."

I nodded and looked towards Damon who just smiled at me. "Rinna and I are just gonna walk around and converse with the other pack mates." Jaxx said before walking with Rinna.

"She's beautiful.." I mumbled as I looked down at my outfit.

Damon lifted my chin so I was now looking up at him and placed a gentle kiss on my lips. "And your stunningly gorgeous." I blushed and smiled before I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him.

I looked around while he hugged back and noticed Vetra glaring at me. I tried to ignore her as I hid my face in Damon's neck but I still had this hostile feeling like a animal would feel if a predator was watching them.

The next time I looked at her she was still glaring at me but there was a male wolf flirting with her which she had no problem flirting back. If she really cared about Damon she wouldn't have flirted with other wolves while he was around.

I glanced up at Damon expecting him to growling at the other wolves but instead he was glaring at her and holding me closer to him as if protecting me. Without thinking I nuzzled into his chest and pulled him away so we weren't in Vetra's view any more.

It was getting closer to the moon being the highest it could be. I had been hanging out with Damon all night and he was not let me leave his sight. Which I wasn't complaining about. I looked at the people dancing to a song I didn't know. I haven't felt like dancing all night. That is until a thousand years came on.

The second that song came on I grabbed Damon and pulling him to the dancefloor ad away from a wolf couple. Once we were on the dance floor he didn't look mad he just look happy. I smiled up at him as he wrapped his arms around my waste and I wrapped my arms around his neck. 

He pulled me closer to him as we swayed to the lyrics of the song. I rested my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes enjoying this moment. Enjoying the feeling of Damon's arms wrapped around me. 

Near the end of the song I looked up at him to see he was already looking at me. The corners of his lips tugged up a bit as he looked down at me and leaned in to kiss me. As our lips were inches apart I felt pair of hands grab me and pull me out of Damon's grip.

I fell onto the ground and looked up to see Vetra growling down at me her eyes glowing a bright yellow.
