"He didn't betray me." I glared at him. Something about him seamed off to me. As if I should be running away from him but here I was fighting him with glares?

He chuckled. "Oh really? I watched what he did. And I know the history you and him share. I know that next full moon if you don't train you could die. Am I right?" He smirked and I felt my heart sink. How could he know those things.

"Look princess. I can train you better then his weak beta and his warrior wolf Nora." His eyes rolled as he spoke little of them.

"They happen to be the strongest wolves in his pack." I snapped.

"That doesn't sound promising with them surviving then when the rouges come back and attack the territory like they did with the North pack." My breath hitched as I heard him.

"Wait how do you know it was rouges?" He chuckled which sent a unwanted chill down my spine.

"Isn't it obvious princess? Rouges are pissed they don't have a pack for protection so they build up a group of rouges and kill the pack." He smirked as I looked up at him. "Tell that to your alpha boy." I chewed on my lip at him.

"What more do you know..." My question made him chuckle.

"A lot more then you. Here's a deal. You allow me to train you and i'll tell you more." My eyebrows knotted together.

"But that's just me getting the all the benefits... what about you?" He chuckled.

"Helping you survive will be my benefit." Again I feel that unsettling feeling.

But against my better judgement I nodded agreeing on his offer. "Fine..."

He smiled and stood up. "I'll be at Damon's to pick you up tomorrow. But I should get going before your alpha boy gets here." He winked at me before walking away disappearing behind a corner.

As if on cue Damon appeared from around the same corner Hex disappeared behind looking at Hex clearly uncomfortable. But as soon as his eyes landed on mine he ran to me and knelt down in front of me pulling me into his chest.

I put my hands on his chest and pushed forward. He looked at me with pain in his eyes before I spoke. "I saw that girl kiss your cheek..." I mumbled and he frowned and pulled me closer again.

'My angel. It's not what you think... She needed help with something so I helped her. She wanted to give me a hug to thank me but she quickly turned around and kissed my cheek. I promise. Your the best thing that ever happened to me. Why would I want to throw what we have away for some girl I don't even know?"

I smiled a bit feeling closure as I leaned into him. "Can we go home now..?" I mumbled causing him to chuckle before standing up and helping me up. He lifted my chin kissing my lips softly.

"Anything you want my angel." He wrapped his arm around my waist and walked me out to his car.

On the car ride there I couldn't get my mind off of Hex. Why did I feel so uncomfortable around him? Then I remembered what he had told me.

"Hey Damon.... I believe it was a over sized group of rouges who killed that pack.." I mumbled causing me to get a look from him.

"What makes you think that?"

"It makes sense... rouges are pissed they don't have a pack for safety so maybe they made a huge rouge group and am no attacking packs..." He sighed and shrugged.

"If that were to happen don't you think the rouge group would have made their own pack?" That's true I guess but maybe there was more behind the scene... does Hex know more about that? Obviously or else he wouldn't be training me for information.
