I stared up at the werewolf girl who had just thrown me to the ground. I placed my hand on my now probably bruising neck as i watched in terror as she walked up to me.

"What you to much of a pussy to say anything back?" She smirked down at me and i looked down and away in shame.

I was never good at getting words out when i was scared or angry. And right now i was terrified. I don't know what i did.

"You can't treat us werewolves as if we are just your fuck toys!? i seen you on the full moon. You were clinging to alpha Damon as if you were his mate. And i have seen how you act with him for the past days you been here!" I stared at her shaking. The way her voice was i swear everyone in the diner could hear her.

"Stay out of werewolves love lives." She growled at  me and walked out mumbling a 'stupid human' as the door closed. 

I looked at the floor trying to find the strength to stand up and check the bruise forming on my neck when a tear fell. Just as the small tear droplet hit the floor the door opened and i freaked out thinking it was the werewolf girl again. But i calmed down seeing it was just Nora.

"Sage.... You ok?" I looked away from her and brought my hand to my throat to cover whatever bruise was forming. "Sage show me your neck..." I kept looking away from her and closed my eyes as Sage kneeled down in front of me. "Please?"

I sighed and looked at her before slowly taking my hand off my neck and Nora frowned. "Grace left the diner. We can go back and eat and try to make today better or we can go home and talk to alpha Damon?"

"Talk to alpha Damon about this?" I looked up at her questioning what she meant by that. 

"Grace is one alpha Damon's scout wolves. We can report this incident and he will do something about it.." I looked at her thinking for a bit before shaking my head. 

"Let's just go and eat..." Nora nodded and stood up helping me up and walking with me out of the bathroom.

After eating we made out way back. I watched out the window of Chris's car dreading going back. Dreading to see if that werewolf girl named Grace was there again. And if she was. Would that mean i would get hurt more often?

Nora looked behind at me and reached over grabbing my hand and holding it. "It will be ok Sage. We can talk to alpha Damon about this and he will do what he feels is right." She gave me a small smile but i couldn't return it.

I had been abused, beaten, attack and more before. And i could handle it no problem. But i just got free from all that. I just got free from the abuse and attacks. I just didn't wanna go through it all over again. 

Chris parked his car and i looked at the doors seeing Grace walk out with Damon following behind her and behind Damon i saw Vetra. Damon didn't look happy as he stared down at me from the doorway.

"Nora stay here and watch Sage please." Chris got out and walked over to Nora and my doors standing in front of them. "Alpha Damon before you assume things i believe you should hear both sides of the story." Chris said in a hopeful tone.

Damon walked to the doors and looked through the window at me and i looked away and moved my hand to cover my neck. 

"Sage get out now i need to talk to you." Damon demanded.
