[Pic is Nora]

I chewed on the inside of my lip as I opened the door to my home. I could hear my two roommates, lira and Sarah, horsing around and laughing. I lived in a house with two werewolves and on every full moon they would destroy the house, fix it, then destroy it again. Even though I live with two werewolves, I still don’t know as much about them as I’d like to. It felt rude to ask questions.

I checked to make sure it was safe before making my way fully inside and closing the door behind me. I took off my winter gear and walked into the kitchen in time to see lira being thrown onto the couch in the living room while laughing, before getting up and chasing Sarah around.

“Enough you two!” I shouted making them both stop and look at me, panting and smiling. They looked ready to go at each other again any second. “Clean this place up, then take the horsing around outside please.” I swear I’m taking care of two kids and I haven’t even had the fun of my first time yet.

They nodded roughly rushing to clean up before Sarah picked up lira, rushing out of the house holding onto her. These two...if I was to suddenly end up pregnant, I would be ready to take care of it, no problem.

I re-cleaned the mess they left behind and turned the stove on to start dinner.

It was 5:43 now and I realized I forgot to text Nora in the craziness of taking care of the two children I live with.

I picked up my phone to send her a quick text.

Sage: Hi! Sorry, when I got home I had a huge mess to clean up. Ugh!!

I turned back to cooking, but soon thousand foot krutch started playing untraveled road. I checked the caller ID to see it was Nora. I hit the answer button and brought the phone to my ear.

“Hello?” I waited for a response, hearing lots of noise in the background of the call. My eyebrows knotted together as I waited for a response. “Nora, can you hear me?”

“Oh, hi Sage. Sorry, the pack house is going crazy right now. Full moon, high energy, you know.” She giggled softly and I nodded in understanding, forgetting that she couldn’t see me.

“Yeah, I know how you feel.” As I finished my sentence Sarah came running in and hid behind me laughing as Lira followed suit panting and also laughing. Lira ran toward us and chased Sarah, circling around me.

“Everything okay there?” Nora questioned. I groaned at the two.

“Outside now, please!” I shouted over their growling and laughing.

“Sorry Sage, we just came to grab our stuff. The full moon will be at its peak soon so we gotta be out there with the rest of the pack.” I frowned as the two hurried up the steps.

“Hello? Sage? You okay?” I sighed.

I leaned against the counter, running my fingers through my hair. “Yeah, I’m still here.”

“What was that?” Nora questioned. I could hear a sudden crash on her side in the background. “Chris! Stop provoking Damon for fucks sake!” I giggled and Nora just sighed. Chris was her mate and he loved to pick fights with Damon, nothing serious, just playing around with him. I’m guessing it’s not the best time right now though. “Sorry, what was that sound? You okay?” She asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine. My roommates are really hyper, because of the full moon...I just found out they are leaving me alone tonight, so yeah.” I looked down, rubbing the back of my neck.

“Well, you want me to come get you and bring you here? Damon’s pack is pretty playful and chill. We’re only serious when we need to be.” I smiled. If I’m being honest, I hoped she would invite me over.

“I’m sorry, I don’t want to be a bother, but yeah please...that sounds nice.” She chuckled and I heard another crash in the background.

“Chris, stop that before I drag you by the tail into our bedroom and lock you there for the rest of the full moon!” I smiled, laughing on the inside a bit. “I’ll be right there, I can find you by scent.” She hung up and I looked at my phone, still smiling.
