The Rejected

I laid in the hospital bed as i could hear my triplets cries in the background. All three had made it alive and i wanted nothing more then to hold them close to me but i was to exhausted.

Damon was holding one and bouncing it around gently with a smile plastered upon his face. I couldn't help but smile at his reaction to the small creature in his arms.

My eyes wondered to the other two. Nora was almost in tears as she held a small pale bundle of joy. No doubt the one she was holding was the runt. But that wouldn't change how much i loved her.

Chase was holding a little boy. He looked down at it as if he was scared of the thing which made me chuckle a bit. "Luna. Please get some rest." The nurse urged me. She had been trying to get me to rest but i so badly wanted to hold my own kids.

"Just a minuet please.." I mumbled. The nurse sighed and looked over at Damon. He handed the first born to her and crawled in with me.

The nurse handed the new baby over to Damon and he put the tiny creature between us. I was to tired to cry but a few tears had threatened to fall as  watched the little baby boy fall asleep between us.

Seeing that i allowed myself to fall asleep as well. For once i could relax and let my mind take me to where it wants to go.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a small cabin. Fireplace against the wall, a bed resting in the corner, a large furry carpet on the floor, and a small rook in a corner that i am guessing is the bathroom.

I walked around the dimly lit rook and sat on the bed looking around. This room reminded me of when my mom used to take me camping with her.

My fingers ran along the soft blanket and i laid back on it closing my eyes. Not kong after i closed my eyes though it felt like i was moved somewhere... cold. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around.

The cabin was gone and i was stranded in the middle of a snowy field. I shivered at the feeling and wrapped my arms protectively around myself.

I examined my surroundings until i noticed a dim glow in the distance. I trudged my way through the thick layers of snow and headed towards the glow.

The more closer i got to it i started to realize the drop where the glow started. I looked down the small cliff and my eyes threatened to let tears fall. My mate, my three babies,... so many wolves.... all slaughtered and left in the slowly building snow.

I turned to try and find another way down but when i turned over i saw a shadow right behind me. The shadow grabbed ahold of my neck and pushed me towards the edge.

I fought and fought to get this things hands off me but nothing was working it didn't take long for my body to be dangling above the ledge.

I looked down and over the cliff to see it had grown to be steeper. I screamed and struggled more only to be dropped.
