Argon (Of course I'm lying)

Ruby gently landed the glider next to her transport hover after 3 am. She folded up the glider and strapped it down to the transport hover. When she walked to the front of the long skinny transport hover she saw Argon lying face down in a pool of puke on the ground. "Damn you Argon" she said softly while she dragged him into the passenger seat. She didn't bother strapping him in, if he was hurt then let him be hurt. She headed for 1's home.

Ruby flew the hover transport to 1's home. She let her transport hover at the same level as the porch then dragged Argon to the door. She rang the doorbell.

"Oh no, not again" 1 said when he finally opened the door. 1 was in his tattered grey gown and barefoot. 1 looked about 40 with grey hair and blue eyes, there was a tattoo on his neck, and it said '1'. 1 and Ruby roughly dragged Argon into his bedroom then into his bathroom. 1 stripped Argon of his clothes while Ruby ran the bathwater. When the bathwater was ready 1 and Ruby slipped Argon into the bath. Ruby and 1 had nursed Argon for a nine month period a few years back when Argon had the fever. Ruby had bathed Argon many times so she wasn't affronted by his nakedness but he did have one sweet baby butt.

Argon mumbled in his state of stupor while Ruby washed him. 1 sat on the toilet seat holding a towel. "My boy loves you" 1 said.

"He wants into my pants not into my heart, he doesn't want me the same way I want him" Ruby answered while washing some soap suds off Argon's back. She softly laid Argon's head back onto the side of the bath.

"He will realize what love is one day, I hope, it's such a pity his mother isn't around anymore" 1 said while busy fidgeting with the towel while looking down.

"Well, in the Abyss tonight I had some time to think" Ruby stated. "I am going to forget about Argon falling in love with me for me". "I am going apprentice with Mr. Magic so I can get rid of these horrid goggles then score some action" Ruby said while beckoning 1 to help her lift up Argon. They both knew the routine.

"What 'kind' of action did you have in mind" 1 asked.

"Some love action, I am not waiting for Argon to grow up anymore" Ruby said while drying Argons legs.

They slid the dry naked mumbling Argon into his bed. Ruby pulled up the sheet then kissed Argon on his forehead. She wasn't waiting for Argon anymore; maybe the peck on his forehead was a kind of goodbye kiss.

In 1's kitchen Ruby sat at the small table near the fridge. 1 put a glass of milk in front of Ruby and asked her if she wanted some mushrooms. Ruby never said no, it was her favorite snack with milk.

1 added an inch of whiskey to his milk. 1 sat opposite Ruby and told her they needed to talk.

"About", Ruby asked while peeling the delicate skin from the raw mushroom with her nails. The skin on the mushroom broke so Ruby peeled the rest of the skin off the mushroom with the small knife.

1 explained that the clan's coffers were full, full of Ruby's money. Ruby hardly spent money and sold the rare crystals she bought in from the Abyss. In the last 100 years she had sold so much that Mr. Bank had noticed that almost a third of all the money in circulation was in Ruby's account. 1 said Ruby had to seriously start spending lots of money fast to get the money circulating in the system again.

"1, you know me, I don't really have the need for 'things' like other people do" Ruby explained.

"Ruby, you need to buy something insanely expensive, soon" 1 said taking a sip of his milk.

"I always liked the old library that burnt down" Ruby said, "I need a change in my life, and it might be a good idea to move out from Daddy and mother".
