It was Friday. Time to go with Grandma Grey. Ruby balanced herself between both suitcases while sk8ing to meet up with Grandma Grey.

Grandma Grey flew the big ship and the "Bol and Bewb Breaker", it was referred to as the "B&B" by the sk8ters. The huge storage ship was called the "DreadNawt". The DreadNawt would follow slowly behind the "Bol and Bewb Breaker". If you could call 200 miles an hour slow.

The B&B was a three part ship, the ship was built for speed. The B&B looked like the three prongs of a trident. The middle prong was 200 yards long and 20 yards wide. Sk8ters sat inside domes spaced 10 yards apart on the top, one sk8ter per bubble, there were 19 domes for 19 sk8ters.

At the back of the central prong an arm was extended upwards to a triangular drivers nest above the prong, behind the drivers nest was an additional flat dome fifteen feet across. Grandma Grey and a co-driver would navigate the ship from drivers nest. It looked over the 3 prongs.

The engines were the other two prongs, one each side of the central prong, slightly longer than the middle prong. The engines were twenty feet down and thirty feet away from the middle prong on each side.

The B&B was resting on the ground now. Grandma Grey was inspecting the engines, she had flying goggles that looked like Ruby's goggles except the lenses were clear, Grandma Grey's goggles were hanging around her neck at the moment.

Grandma Grey told Ruby to go and dump her suitcases in the DreadNawt in room 19, she would be sharing with a girl called May. Ruby took her suitcases and hurried away. In room 19 between the two bunks on the table was a hamster cage with a hamster running on in its wheel. The hamster was a 'winter white' with a chocolate stripe running down its back. The hamster stopped running and came to the side of the cage and started dancing for Ruby. Ruby reminded herself to get a snack for the little creature when she returned from supper.

When Ruby returned to the B&B Grandma Grey was on top in the drivers nest. Ruby dropped her sk8board, hopped on with her one foot, pushed away and hovered up to the drivers nest. When Ruby hovered next to the nest Grandma Grey showed her to climb in.

From the nest you could see all of the ship over the dash, Grandma Grey had three displays. The driver and co driver each had their own heads up displays. Grandma Grey casually told Ruby, "Don't worry about your display yet dearie, you can play with it once we start, I'm gonna give ya some flying lessons as well in these two weeks as well". Grandma Grey switched on the engines, a low deep throbbing sound came to life, Grandma pulled on the joystick and the 'Bol and Bewb Breaker' moved into life, Grandma leveled the ship and stood up. Ruby could feel the powerful engines throbbing through the whole ship. Ruby in that instant realized Grandma Grey was a speed junkie.

Grandma Grey was looking for her Sk8ters, she leaned down and pressed the button for the foghorn, the sound was very loud and deep, it echoed through all the home wagons in the vicinity. Soon the sk8ters were sk8ting to the domes on top of the central prong; they opened the domes and climbed in. Every dome held a sk8ter, Grandma looked at Ruby and said "For two weeks you will be student and co-pilot, hopefully we can get you out of those horrible goggles as well". Grandma Grey gently squeezed Ruby's hand. Grandma Grey stood up again and looked behind her at the DreadNawt, the driver had the DreadNawt up and hovering and waved to her, Grandma sat back down and strapped herself in, she nodded to Ruby to strap herself in as well. Ruby strapped herself into the chair. "Hope you don't mind if we drive with the top off, you've got your goggles on anyway", Grandma said as she put on her own goggles.

Grandma Grey pressed a button and spoke into the intercom, "switch on when you're strapped in sk8ters, we don't want loose heads when we land". Nineteen green lights lit on the panel, Grandma reset them and took the joystick, "Eat my dirt" Grandma said to no-one in general.
