There was still a month before the clan had to pack out and move from Lagoon. May had commissioned Mr. Photo to come to the island today to take photos. Mr. Photo had arrived at 8 in the morning, the high speed taxi would return at noon to fetch him.

Mr. Photo walked around the small island and took photos that could be stitched together to form one long picture that would give a 360 degree view of the island. Mr. Photo said the island was truly magnificent.

Then it was time for personalized shots, May had Ruby decide what she wanted. The first photo Ruby wanted was from inside the doorway looking out at the rock, May had to go and lie down on the rock in her bikini showing her curves off to the camera while looking at the doorway. After the shot Mr. Photo saw the frame with the photo of Ruby holding the blue roses. He walked up to the bed and picked up the frame and looked at it in fascination. "How did you do this" Mr. Photo asked. Ruby said she used children's coloring in pencils, the ones that were slightly waxy. Ruby watched the realization move across Mr. Photo's face. Ruby said "It's as easy as child play when you simplify a problem to its basics, you don't have to be a scientist to add a bit of color to a picture". Mr. Photo had been humbled by a child's color in pencil.

The next shot was of Ruby and May sitting in their bikinis on the rock looking at the trees across the lake. Then there was a shot of Ruby and May lying on their towels on the rock. Ruby and May lay next to each other on their tummies on their arms looking up at Mr. Photo. "Make sure to get Ruby's butt and boobs in the shot" May told Mr. Photo. Mr. Photo went berry red and the two girls laughed, Mr. Photo took the shot of the laughing May and Ruby and got both their butts and boobs in the pic as well.

Then there were shots of the Frons and the porch and the blue cookies and a few other things. By noon Mr. Photo was packing up his things into the wooden box. Mr. Photo said they could come and pick up the prints tomorrow but only after 1 had finished his speech. "What speech" May asked. "I thought you knew" Mr. Photo said and explained 1 was going to address the crowd about the petition for people staying on permanently in lagoon.

May said they would be there the next day to pick up the prints. The high speed taxi dropped down to the island and whisked Mr. Photo away. May and Ruby swam and played in the water for the rest of the day, their last few days in paradise were sadly coming to an end. Ruby and May talked about staying on permanently in Lagoon during the barbeque but both of them also had other things they wanted to do that required moving with the clan to the next level. LD50 of course had a really decent lightshow that night.

The next morning they were both in the crowd surrounding the podium with their sk8boards strapped to their backs. The crowd went quiet as 1 approached the podium. 1 handed over baby Jason to Jill before standing behind the podium. 1 adjusted the mic and spoke:

"We have 28 days until the move and 27 days until the triple wedding.

(The crowd gave a huge roar and 1 waited for the silence).

There were two petitions; the first petition was to stay on for another year. I discussed this with Mr. Math and decided we have to go, the only reason we might have stayed would have been if there were surface copper deposits. Copper is the rarest of the metals and is in real need. As hard as the scouts worked they didn't find much of anything in Lagoon that might even warrant an extra year here. There is an impending labor crisis so that is another reason we have to leave, Lagoon may be a paradise but it impedes progress. We are going folks, that is my final decision.

[The crowd grumbled a bit then went silent again after 1 tapped the microphone a few times to get their attention.]

The second petition was from a few hundred people who wished to stay. "If you remember correctly one of my newer laws states that anyone is welcome to stay behind on any level whenever they want to". "So please people don't waste my time or your time with petitions, ignorance of the law is not an excuse so folks remember now please, anyone is allowed to stay behind on any level whenever they feel like it, you don't have to have my approval".
