The Mission

"Wait, who are you?" I asked,

"Don't I look familiar." He responded,

And then I realized, he was the man in my dreams, my eyes widened and I covered my mouth, I immediately ran to the drawer next to me and took my gun and pointed it at him.

"Woah, easy there Hailey, I don't want any trouble." He said putting his hands in the air,

"How'd you know me? Why are you here? Who are you?" I asked,

"I've known you cause I can know people from my dreams, I am here because you need my help, and I am Mark."

"What do you mean you can know people from your dreams? Why do I need your help?"

"I am a time traveler myself, and you need my help because your friend is kidnapped."

"What? How'd you know that?"

"I told you, I'm a time traveler, I travel to the Future."

"But why would you say I need your help?"

"Because the man who kidnapped your friend is waiting for the right time to get you and kill you."

"What? Who's that man?"

"I'll tell you in the right time but the reason also is because, he also wants to get me and kill me."

"Why does he want to kill me and you?"

"I'll tell you in the right time."

"Why?"

"Because, if you know now, you'll be distracted and you might not save your friend."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Prove to me you are a time traveler."

"Come with me."

He went to my room, I still have my gun at my hand, then he took out a little ball, suddenly a light spark appeared but vastly disappeared.

"What was that?" I asked,

"It might've been us." He responded,

"What do you mean?"

"You'll see."

He started rubbing the ball, and the room started to become wobbly, he handed me the ball.

"Think about an event, and rub the ball." He said,

I thought about when I talked to the Detective, I rubbed the ball and I looked around, the time was frozen but I did saw myself, I was surprised of what I was seeing.

"Yes, that's you, but you can also start the time by clicking that green button." He said,

I wanted to click it but Mark stopped me.

"But, if the time is going, you shouldn't be seen by your self." He said,

"Why?" I asked,

"Or things will be a mess."

I nodded and thought about another event, right now, I thought about the night Me and Claire hanged, I saw myself and Claire laughing, I saw a red button and asked.

"What's the red button for?"

"For stopping the time or stopping from time traveling."

I thought about Me and Mark talking, I rubbed the ball and I knew now what he meant.

"So this is what you meant? The spark was us." I said,

He nodded, then I clicked the red button, we went back to my room.

"I proved it to you already." He said,

"Yeah." I said,

"How old are you?" I asked,

"25, you?" He asked,

"20."

We all nodded and he spoke.

"I do like a girl, she is 25 also."

"Really? Then you must tell her." I said,

"She's with someone."

"Oh, sorry."

His face lit up.

"Now, let's begin our mission." He said,

"Mission?" I asked,

"Mission to save your friend."
