We walked in the house, the house seemed like no one ever lived here, I guess people were afraid to live here because there were lots of murders here, I checked my old room, the things were still in order as the time I left, I went back to the living room to find Mark looking up the roof.
"Wow, this is really creepy." He said,
Suddenly, we heard someone clapping from upstairs, we immediately went there and checked every room, when we got to the last room from the right, I saw a person that was tied in a chair with a bag on her head, we immediately took the bag and we saw the person we have been looking for.
"Claire!" I said,
She seemed scared, Mark untied her hands and her feet, now she was free, she hugged me tightly that it was hard for me to breath but I didn't care, I missed her so much, we immediately went out the room and we saw a man who looked familiar with a rifle at his hands, and he spoke.
"Not so fast."
I heard Mark gasped, I looked at Mark who's eyes widened, and the strange man spoke again.
"Did you miss me Mark?"
Mark looked down, and the man pointed the rifle at us.
"Go down the living room, if you ever try to escape, a bullet will be planted on your brains." He said,
We walked down the living room, and we stood there.
"Claire, would you please lead us to the basement." The man said,
Claire looked down and started walking towards the door, she opened it and there were stairs going down, we went down the basement and stood there again, then the man pointed his rifle at Mark.
"Mark, it's been months since we've met, how are you?" The man asked,
The man started to point the rifle at Claire.
"Do you think I should just let you stand there?" The man said,
He pulled Claire to a chair and started tying her hands and legs, he faced the chair to us, so we were facing each other, finally I had the courage to ask.
"Why are you doing this?"
"Because you murdered my wife." He responded,
I became confused.
"I never murdered a woman." I said,
"I think you won't remember her, but if I say her name, you will." He said,
"Who?"
"Amelia."
