I visited Dave in the prison, he looked like a mess, his eyes were still brown but it got darker, he looked at me blankly as I sat in a bench.
"Dave? How are you here?" I asked,
"I don't know what is happening, I didn't commit any crime, I don't even know what date today is or time, all I know is night and darkness." Dave responded,
"What do you mean by that?"
"My wife was killed, and I don't know who did."
"You definetely know who, it was Jane Lim."
"Her? The serial killer?"
"Yes, and do you even know where she is?"
"No."
"I will tell you, she's me."
"How could you? What did she ever done to deserve this?"
"I'm sorry, I never wanted to do it, it was an accident, she picked up the knife from me and I tried to take it back but my hand slipped and she pulled the knife hard that she got stabbed."
"You'll pay for this."
The Police started to take him back to his cell, The other Police apologized to me, I then left and walked around, I don't know why he suddenly forgot all about this, it was like he had an amnesia, I stopped thinking and went home already, I went home to find all of my friends there, they all sat there watching a movie, Jake told me to sit beside him, I did and he placed his arm around my neck.
"So, how did it go there with Dave?" He asked,
"It was fine." I lied,
"Okay, it's a good thing that we all worked it out now."
I smiled and started to watch the movie, I eased myself and smiled while watching the movie, I thought to myself that everything was okay already, but I knew it wasn't, I know that something will happen at Burgos Town again.
