Going back on time

Stranger

July 21, 01:30PM

I finished work and went home, I was exhausted by just standing and not sitting for half an hour, I lay in my bed still and right now the man looking at me was in my head, but he really looked familiar, he was also creepy because he gave me this scary look and he's like he's about to burst out angry, suddenly my phone beeped, It was a text from Claire.

"Audrey, my parents are not coming home tonight, what if we hang at my house?"

"That will be great, I'll see you later at eight o'clock." I replied,

I lay in my bed with a smile on my face, I was bored that I started writing different kinds of phone number, suddenly a phone number came to my mind and I wrote it, I started dialing it and a man's voice spoke,

"Good thing it worked, I'll be there."

The phone hang up, and I felt weird about what he just said, actually I didn't even understand what he meant, and did he meant that he'll be at my apartment?, It was weird and I thought, maybe he was just joking. I just lay in my bed and I fell asleep.

05:00PM

I woke up and read the clock, it was five already and I had to change my uniform, I forgot to change into my clothes so I did, I changed into my jeans, Black plain T-shirt and my favorite black-and-white shoes.

07:30PM

Later, it was seven-thirty already, I walked to Claire's house since it's not that far away, I walked to the side of a peaceful road, I kept looking at my back because I felt someone following me, then I saw Claire's house, I was near until I accidentally bumped into a beggar.

"Oh my, I'm sorry, I didn't see you." I said,

"That's okay dear." She said,

She started picking things that fell from her grasp, I helped her and she thanked me for helping her then suddenly she closed her eyes, it was like she was reading my mind then she opened her eyes and smiled.

"I hope you achieve on your mission, good luck."

She left and disappeared as she walked to the left side, I tried to talk to her but when I walked to the left side, she was nowhere to be seen already.

I continued walking towards Claire's house, I looked at my watch stroke eight o'clock and I knocked, Claire opened the door and welcomed me in her house, she led me to her living room where there were two bucket of popcorns and McDonald's.

"Wow, what's today's occation?" I asked,

"Nothing, It's just, I wanna have fun with you." Claire responded,

We sat in the couch and Claire opened her tv, she maked me pick a movie, I picked "White Chicks", It's kinda funny to watch that's why I picked it.

09:00PM

Later, the movie was finished and it was nine already, I told Claire that I will go home already so she waved me goodbye and I left.

I arrived at my Apartment exhaustedly, I locked the door behind me and immediately went to my bed and fell asleep, I found myself in a dark room already, then the man that was on my recent dream was here again, this time he spoke.

"I'm coming for you."

And again, I was thrown away, and I jolted awake, I don't know why I kept having dreams about him, I didn't even knew him, then I thought to myself.

"Maybe he's just a stranger."
