Ashton's POV

I had met a nice, ginger girl while 5 Seconds of Summer was touring in Ireland. She's extremely nice and all, but she'll never match (y/n). Though she is a close second. And we are getting married next fall.

Not too big of a wedding, but it is still there. Rose knows about (y/n) and understands that she'll always be mine and have a special place in my heart. But Rose is a lot like me in that case. She lost her boyfriend due to cancer. It was sort if a The Fault in Our Stars thing.

We both didn't love each other as much as we did our loved ones that we lost, but we did love each other. So, Rose and I thought that it would be alright to spend our lives together. But we've decided upon not having children. We didn't want the poor kids to feel their parents don't love each other enough. Though, Rose thinks she's unable to have kids either way...

Rose is a drummer as well. But I liked it much better when I could show (y/n) how to drum and she'd mess up. I miss times like that with her, but now I can have other times with Rose that are different and make new memories.

Every year we go and visit (y/n)'s grave and Daniel, Rose's boyfriend's, grave. It wasn't the best thing to do to ourselves, but we did it anyways.

I think the worst thing about this, besides (y/n)'s death is that her family now rejects me as anything. I invited them to my wedding and the first words out of their mouths were "Some nerves you've got." Let's just say they're not too happy that I tried to find someone else. It's not like it actually worked very well.

I just don't want to spend the rest of my life alone...

But that doesn't mean I'm not happy. Rose and I have traveled the world, making music and just generally having a good time. Even if we're not with our true loves, were with a second loves.
