-AMALIA-

I woke up in the morning to just prepare everything for today. I got up and rang the bell to call Nella. Like seriously? Why can't dad just give me a phone? In this century, everyone already has a phone!

A few minutes later, Nella was panting while she was carrying a large basket.

"Nella, are you okay?" I asked as I furrowed my eyebrows while looking at my maid.

"I was in the basement, princess," Nella explained as she gave me the basket that was covered with a white cloth.

"Is everything here?" I asked as I opened the basket.

"Yes, everything is there," Nella said as she opened my walk-in closet.

Nella grabbed an old red winter coat, winter boots, black leather gloves, and black long sleeve dress made from crepe fabric, and laid the clothes on a table.

I entered the bathroom in my room. I took a bath for an hour and then dried myself with white cotton bath towels and then asked Nella to help me get dressed.

A few minutes later after getting dressed, Nella gave me my breakfast, which consists of, soft boiled egg, toast with strawberry jam, Earl Grey tea, seasonal fruits, and oats.

I ate my breakfast quietly while planning my revenge. Nella entered my room once again to just say that my horse is ready. I got up and went downstairs, followed by Nella who was also bringing the big basket.

As soon, we went outside, Nella leads me towards the horse. She helped me ride on the back of the horse and when I was comfortable with my sitting position, then she gave me the basket and a small bag.

I gave her a confused look while holding the bag. "An apple, a water bag and two loaves of bread," she said and bowed down to me as she goes back inside the palace again.

I should have taken the car instead, but the problem is I might get attention from the villagers. Father needs to renovate the village. It reeks in there! No offense...

I rode my horse quietly until I reached the royal gates. "Open the gates!" I shouted to the guards on the tower. And the royal gates slowly opened and I made the horse galloped down the road to the village of Vera. As soon as I reached the entrance of the village, I slowly stopped my horse and got down while I carefully hold the basket.

Since the horse is already trained, I made it run back to the castle grounds. I fixed my winter coat and wore the hood that covers mostly half of my face.

As I enter the village, it was full of smashed glasses, garbage, and smelly wet rags. Vendors and merchants yelling about how their items are of good quality. While the women are washing the laundries and complaining about their tiring life.

I quickly crossed the bridge to go to the other side, since the village was separated by the River of Death, that's what they called it.

I hurriedly walked towards the other exit of the village of Vera, which ends up in a forest. So as soon I walk toward the exit, someone bumped me. It was a tall person who was wearing a black cape with a hood that covers mostly his face, that's why you wouldn't know if the person is a guy or a girl.

"Sorry," the person mumbled, realizing that it was a guy, from the low voice. But still, I didn't look up to see his face, so I quickly exited the village, entering the forest, leading to the kingdom of Montagna of the Northside.

I carefully walked into the woods, preparing myself from wolves or any dangerous animals ready to attack. A few minutes later, I have reached the kingdom of Montagna. I entered the secret passageway, so I can enter the gates without any royal guards knowing. I know that every kingdom as a secret passageway, but few people only knew them, so that includes me and the three people who sabotaged my family's grand ball.

"Time for your revenge!" I thought and grinned evilly to myself. Geez, I would look like Joker if I keep this up.

I hid on the trees that are just near stables. And just as I expected, there are a lot of people who showed up in the horse show of Montagna.

I opened the basket revealing a matchbox, firecrackers, bow and arrows, and a gun. Everything is ready, I just need to wait for all the horses to show up.

A few minutes later, there are black, gray, white, and goldish colored horses came, and there, my plan was about to start.

I got up and gathered some branches and lit it up with a match, then I got 3 firecrackers and then lit them quickly and threw it towards the hay that was near the stables.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" the sound of the explosion of the fireworks startled the horses. But I'm not done yet. I quickly reach out for the bow and arrow from the basket and put the tip of the arrow on the fire and fired it towards the stacks of hays.

The people began to panic and some horses got scared and ran away. I waited on my spot to make sure the arrows were also burned to leave no evidence behind. As soon as it all turned into ashes, I left my spot.

I returned the matchbox, bow and arrow, and the water bottle inside the basket and got the gun. I pointed it towards the sky and fired it. The guests from the show gave a frightening scream that startled more horses and made them ran away from the venue of the show.

I put the gun inside the basket and put the basket on my back and ran fast, away from the kingdom and people that I despise so much.

I found a horse that was lost. "This must be from the Montagna," I thought and so I went towards the horse, I was surprised that I was trusted by the horse so quickly, and so I ride the horse's back and galloped away from the forest.

I was now outside of the entrance of the north side village of Vera. I quickly got out of the horse's back and fixed my hood. I patted the horse's head and feed the horse with an apple from the basket.

"Goodbye, boy," I smiled at the horse and walked towards the entrance of the village.

I ran quickly to not get any attention from other people.

I reached the bridge and slowly walked across it and ran again to go back to the south side kingdom. I was running because at the strike of 6'o clock is the lock of the village gates. And I have one minute to reach the gate.

And when I was a meter away, the gate was almost midway. I ran and threw the basket from the other side of the gates, and I slid on the floor, entering the gates. And just on time, the gates closed.

And there, I saw a few horses in front of me. I looked up and saw the king with an expression. Is he angry? Concerned? Disappointed? Proud? I don't know what my Father is thinking, but his expression is scary.

"Father! You're here," I said, my forehead started to sweat, and my hands started to shake.

"Yes. Now, get on the horse and follow me," he said as his horse galloped, and the guards' horses followed him.

"Yes, Father," I whispered. Well, even though I'm going to be punished, I still got my revenge.
