Oh god.. jim. You need to go check on and apologize to jim... he has enough to worry about. Even if he tried to push you away you have to be there for him..

you breathe out, quickly going over to Jim's office. It was getting late, but you wanted to make sure he was okay.. you went into his office, casually seating yourself on his desk as always.

"Hey Jim-"

"You haven't been answering your texts." Jim stated, sitting in his office chair as usual, looking at you seriously a moment. Jeez... you had to make your response, and your expression flawless. He could NOT be allowed to read through you right now.

"Yeah, sorry... i broke my phone. Might need a new one soon..." you stated, pouting slightly, showing him the cracked screen on your phone. He stared at you for a moment, before seeming to decide you were being truthful after all.

".. alright, good to know." He replied, nodding slowly. You smiled, just glad jim bought it. You couldn't exactly tell him 'yo, a hacker took over my phone and blocked all your messages and has been secretly keeping in touch with me for three days'. It just... doesn't work like that.

"Yeah... anyways, I was wondering if William, Alex and I could leave the building tomorrow?? I really want to get out of here, I'm not used to the constant stress knowing that a strangers hacked the building and is watching your every single move-" you say, smiling at jim quietly. Jim watches you, trying to read through you, then slowly nods in response.

"... alright, sounds good. Make sure you stay together." He says, you smile at the fact he was treating you like a little kid, hah.... well, at least he wasn't mad at you anymore..... ....

"You need to get to bed, y/n." Jim said, and you nodded slightly in agreement.

"Alright.. i will. Jim.... make sure you get some sleep." You say, looking at him. He seemed to scoff a bit, but didn't say another word. Your eyebrows drew together as you left the room, lost in thought. Did Jim sleep—? He had to sleep.... then again, he always very lowkey seems tired... maybe he was some sort of insomniac that somehow was brilliant and high functioning regardless. ... huh.

You sighed, pushing away the thought because you were too tired to worry about others anymore. You went into your room and climbed into bed, pulling the covers over your head. ... you felt your phone buzz in your pocket. ... you picked it up. ...... then set it down on your nightstand. All night long, the words echoed through your head, forcing you in and out of sleep with nightmares.

'See you tomorrow, y/n~.'
