Jim's POV:
Jim laid by your side silently as you fell asleep. When you did, he silently pulled you into his arms, just as he had the night before without you knowing. ... ahah.
He rested his chin on top of your head, closing his eyes as he sorted through his thoughts. Eventually, he gave in and pulled out his phone. There was a text from William.
'Jim, Alex is having a complete meltdown. Any idea why?' Jim stared at the text, before immediately texting Harvey.
'What did you do.'
'I may have said something to make him doubt anything and everything he thought he knew~.'
Jim glared at the text. Harvey was a monster. Jim knew something was off when he first met Harvey, hence he kept him away from his sons. Although he sincerely thought Harvey had gotten better after he stopped drinking, he still kept him away from the boys to be cautious. He was right to do so. Now look at the mess he was in..
Harvey was no doubt trying to draw out Alex's 'other side', make him absolutely freak out. And he was no doubt waiting for the absolute perfect time to reveal to the boys what he really was, to completely tear them apart. Jim had to stop him before then...
Harveys POV:
Harvey smiled darkly at his phone, knowing he had jim dangling from a thread. He controlled his every thought, move, and emotion. As for Alex and William.. oh, they were far too fun to simply just kill. In fact, Harvey went to find them. See what more damage he could do. He received a distress text from William, explaining that Alex was in a bad state and he desperately needed Harvey to come help calm him down.
As he headed down the hall, he twitched slightly and immediately his complete entire body relaxed, his eyes becoming kind and worried, a completely different man. .. however just as dangerous.
Almost as if he had a split personality himself. Hah hahhh, surprise~ Alex got it from somewhere, that's for sure.
Upon finding them, Harvey immediately went to their aid.
"William, what's wrong?? What happened??" He asks, displaying evident concern for the two boys. William shook his head, kneeling by Alex and holding him tight.
"I don't know... I found him in a complete panic, he won't say what's wrong.."
Alex was trembling and pale and crying and having an all out panic attack, but every once and a while his expression seemed to change and become dark and dull and hateful. Harvey knelt by them worriedly, immediately attaching himself to the boy as well to give him a sense of comfort and security.
"Alex... it's alright.. calm down... we're here for you, okay? No matter what..." Harvey stated in a calming voice, holding the boy closely. As he did however, he very discreetly pinched Alex's arm. He didn't react a bit. Just as Harvey thought, Alex was so overwhelmed by the panic and trying desperately to not switch personalities, he only felt numbness through the mental pain. So, Harvey pricked a needle in Alex's arm, keeping out of Alex and Williams sight. Through said needle, he drew blood.
William's anxiety was evidently rising as well, seeing as Alex was not calming down.
"What do we do dad, he's going to bloody lose his mind any second and we can't stop it..." William breathed, still holding Alex closely. Harvey internally smiled. William just called him dad without even noticing. Hah. Another win.
"I don't know... I don't know.. just keep trying to calm him down.." Harvey stated, slipping a small vile of Alex blood into his suit jacket without either of them noticing.
