Authors note:

Alright everyone. Just a warning in advance. I'm a sci-fi nerd. *gasp* who knew, right. Anyways. This chapter may make some cringe, however I promise not to bring it up much after this in and the next chapter, in order to not lose the few (yet much appreciated) readers that I have, LOL. Anyways. Sci-fi warning, once again. Just making sure y'all know. Not everything can be perfectly Sherlocky logical all the time in my world ;)

William's POV:

William paused a moment, just before pulling the trigger on jim. He heard a small cough from where the voice had come, and glanced over. He saw what looked like an astounded Harvey, and a tired alex, sitting up rubbing his eyes.

"Alex— you're awake—" William says, quickly putting his gun away, as if not wanting to influence his brother with any more violence that he already had. Now ignoring jim, William made his way over to the kid, and upon looking at him closer, realized he was healed from the wounds that had moments ago covered him.

"Alex—-......??" William asks, confused. Alex smiled, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"I'm okay... don't worry..." Alex said, smiling up at his dumbfounded brother, who couldn't seem to process what was happening. William blinked multiple times, before he clued in.

"Oh.... age gap..." William said, as it finally clicked. Alex nodded.

"We never finished telling y/n about that... where is she?" Alex says, looking around. William sat beside the boy, purposely blocking you and jim from Alex's view.

"She.... had to step out."

"Age gap??" Harvey asked, confused and concerned. William and Alex nodded in unison.

"Harvey, I'm sure you've noticed Alex looks a lot younger than he should be.. he's supposed to be 16 right now, but he's only 10." William stated, watching Harvey's reaction. He seemed completely lost at the sentence, Alex giggled childishly at how confused his dad was. William continued.

"... how do I say this... ah... when I was 16, and when Alex was 10.... well, let's just say when I was 16... I decided I didn't want to work for jim anymore. He got upset and... well. Killed Alex. ... anyways. When I was 21, so, just over a year ago I guess, just before mum died, Alex came back somehow. He stayed with her until she passed, then announced to me he was alive. He had the same memories, same age as when he died, same... everything." William stated, looking at Alex. Alex smiled.

"And now I have powers!!!!" He grinned happily. William raised an eyebrow.

"No, you don't. ... well. Apparently you do. He can heal himself apparently... which is. A strange thing to be able to do. ... still have no idea how the hell hes even alive but.. I'm fine with it. More than fine, actually. I'm so bloody glad." William smiled weakly, hating to talk about Alex dying... worst five years of his life. Alex seemed to think a moment, looking at William.

"So... I can heal myself. ... does that make me like... Rapunzel? From Tangled...? Ew-! I don't want to be a girl! OH!! I KNOW!! I'm Khan, from Star Trek!!! Magic healy blood!!" Alex grinned happily, Harvey seemed astounded at the story. However, then he glanced over at where jim was now kneeling by you again.

"...... so Alex can heal himself. ........ do you think he'd be able to heal others, as well...?"
