You had ten minutes left. You had all spent the other 50 scouting out the entire building for any sign of a bomb. Jim looked like he was starting to get nervous- ...interesting.

You regrouped with the others to find out their opinions on what was going on.

"Do you think it's a hoax? There's no way we all could have missed it." Alex asked, knowing how observant his brother, jim, and no doubt Harvey all were. Nothing could get passed them.

"It's a possibility... but why would someone make up rubbish like this? I don't think we should doubt just yet.." William stated, looking at jim. Jim was already two steps ahead of him, looking up at the ceiling. You clued in as well. The vents is the one place in this building they hadn't checked, the one place something so obvious could be perfectly hidden. ... and they had ten minutes to find it.

"Only Alex will fit up there. Maybe y/n too, but there's no point in risking anyone getting stuck." Jim stated simply. You looked over at him inquisitively, although you were slightly flattered jim thought you would fit in the vents hah hah. .... damnit no. Jim's a psychopath. ..... no fawning over him. ...

William glanced down at Alex a bit protectively, swallowing. Alex smiled up at him reassuringly, with an 'I got thissssssss' sort of expression. Jim was beginning to drum his fingers, another sign of stress and anticipation.

".... did I mention the doors are all locked from the outside. The place is no doubt surrounded as well. No way out. We will all die if we don't HURRY UP." He snapped, then collected himself together again and calmly smiled. William seemed to tense up a bit, before nodding in response out of feigned confidence.

Four more minutes had passed. Six left. William was talking to Alex via cell, guiding him through the vents, while Harvey tagged along to stay out of Jim's way. Jim had practically become hysterical. He was pacing and sweating and evidently internally panicking, although keeping a straight face. .... that, and snapping at you and everyone else. A lot.

"... jim, just call off the bomb." You state matter-of-factly, wanting to see his reaction to your blatant accusation. Jim stopped. And slowly turned to you.

"You seriously think. That this is still me. You think I'm doing this. You think. I would threaten. Everything that I've worked my entire life to get. Just because I'm bored."

".... yes." You replied.

Jim stared at you. "...... then you're probably right. Why don't I just call everything off. Let me make a phone call." Jim snapped, although it was evident by his tone that he didn't have the means or power to do so. You were beginning to get apprehensive of the bomb, and really, REALLY sick of Jim's constant attitude, and unpredictable manipulations.

"Jim, I have no idea what is up with you. One day, you like me. The next, you're almost in tears. After that, you're practically dancing on your desk. Then with one wrong move, you give the order to completely tear someone apart. You're completely untrustworthy. And you know what. If this bomb goes off, perhaps the world is better off. Perhaps you're the biggest danger that anyone will ever face, and perhaps.. this is for the best." You state, slowly crossing your arms over your chest. Jim had fallen completely silent. .... then he smiled.

".... you're right. Thank you, my dear~...... bless you." Jim hummed, before simply leaving the room. You stared at the empty doorway, trying to process what had just happened. Jim made. No sense. ... although you wonder if you got to him. You know what you said was extremely over the top harsh, and you didn't mean it at all. But you needed to test him. Just as he was testing all of you. You needed to get onto his level... learn how he functions, learn how he reacts. Learn how he lies....

Jim's POV:

Jim pulled out his phone, closing himself off in an empty room. He texted the 'unknown' number that had told him about the bomb.

'I know what you're doing. I'm not going to hurt them. No matter what you manipulate them to say. You have nothing on me~ and it will always stay that way. Tell me where the bomb is. You've lost, now tell me where it is.'

Jim's fingers drummed on his thigh as he waited silently. 'Unknown' was typing. Jim was sweating. He kept a straight face, seeming calm and composed. But you could see right through him, and jim wasn't used to that. It threw him off his game completely. .... he actually admired you for it. He also knew that this 'unknown' was turning you all against him, so he'd lose his temper and seriously hurt or injure one of them. But jim refused. 'Unknown' would have to try harder than that. Jim refused to hurt any of you under the wrong reasons, or do anything to make him look even more guilty than he already did.

However, how guilty he looked wasn't up to him. 'Unknown' kept piling things on. Convincing everyone that Jim was messing with them. Which, fine. Kudos to unknown for even getting this far. ... Jim didn't mind a game, not at all. But the results that this unknown wanted... were all too real, and it worried jim. He knew he was unstable. He could snap and lose his temper at any moment, shooting one of you.....

It was a sick thought.

'Unknown' texted back with the coordinates to the bomb. Two minutes left. Just enough time for jim to book it to William and Alex, telling them where the bomb was at the last second, forcing him to look even more like the one who had planted it in the first place.

... perfect.
