Shiro and Matt were lounging around with the rest of the paladins. Lance and Hunk were talking about prom. Talking about their experiences. Allura confused asked what it was. Shiro responded, "It is a formal, sort of like a ball, but it is run by the school. Every high school did it back on earth. For the seniors is the last thing that they can have fun at before finals a few weeks after. I actually took Matt back when." Lance looked at him, "So you were a mister goody two shoes?" Matt laughed and shook his head, "Oh hell no." Shiro smirked and looked at Lance, "Far from it, I got a ticket that night. My very first one mind you."

"What did you do?" Pidge looked at him raising a brow, "I was speeding, on the main strip where drag races happen. I was going 50 in a 40. It wasn't the first time I went over the speed limit. I went 80 in a 55 because I was bored and wanted to have fun." Matt glared at Shiro, "Somehow once he got into the Garrison he managed to flirt his way out of a ticket." Lance looked at him floored, "What how! Teach me!" Shiro glared, "No you'll speed always. Besides, I don't do it anymore."  Lance looked down dejected. Pidge spoke up, "I haven't been to a prom or any dance even. I never saw the appeal. I never had any friends to go with."

Shiro perked up, "We could do one for the coalition. Maybe for more benefactors and what not." Lance stood up, "Razzle dazzle time!" Shiro chuckled and looked at Allura who sat thinking, "We don't have to. We could just hold a dinner, but maybe if people could see that they could feel as free as they do when they are in the castle and have fun they might want to help the war effort."

"That sounds like a good idea. What about entertainment?" She looked at them bewildered. Lance smiled and shrugged, "Let us do that. Don't worry I used to plan quinceaneras." Shiro looked at him, "Really?" Lance nodded,"What do you think of me as? An idiot? Wow, thanks." Allura looked at them confused, "Quinceanera? What are those?" Lance looked at her and smiled happily, "It is a birthday showcasing the moment a girl moves into womanhood. It is basically a sweet sixteen for the rest of the world. The main basis for it was from the ancient Aztecs when they would sacrifice the most beautiful girl in the village to the sun god. When the Spaniards came over they couldn't sacrifice anymore so they made it a family celebration and it has stayed ever since." Hunk looked at Lance and blinked a few times. Lance looked at them, "What? I can't know about my own culture?" Shiro smiled chuckling softly, "No. I think we were all surprised that you actually knew that much." Shiro then turned to Allura, "I feel like our best bet would be with Lance. I feel like he would do great at it."

Allura walked into the main ballroom where Shiro and Lance were. Shiro was wearing a purple button-up shirt with a black tie, slacks, and vest. Lance wore the same thing but with a red shirt and a bow tie. She was smiled at them, "Good evening." Shiro smiled at her and nodded, "Evening." Lance was running around meticulously placing things and rearranging what was out of place. Matt walked up to Shiro and kissed his cheek, "You look nice." Shiro smiled, "You look good in grey." Matt blushed and told him to shut up. Shiro only chuckled. The two watched Lance run around and fuss over everything. Matt rolled his eyes and walked over to him, "Everything looks fine." Lance glared and growled, "I can't everything has to be perfect." Shiro looked at him, " Lance, you are replacing things back in the same spot. It is fine."

"If you keep worrying about what could go wrong, you might miss the chance to do something great." Lance looked down and nodded. Shiro chuckled and placed a hand on his shoulder, "I think you need to get a drink." Lance nodded and walked over to Hunk and he smiled saying a few things before they leave. Shiro was about to leave before someone walked in dressed in a blue button-up shirt and a tie and black slacks. The man walked over to Shiro, his hair was pulled back into a mini ponytail. "Where is Lance?" Shiro smiled, "He went with Hunk to get something to drink. He wouldn't stop fussing over the room. Keith, he missed you."Keith nodded and ran off. Shiro rolled his eyes and walked off. Pidge stood in the corner dressed much like Shiro and Matt only wearing a green button up, much to Allura's dismay. Shiro looked at her, "You can quit hiding." Pidge shook her head. Shiro looked at Matt who only shrugged in response.
