Hannah woke up to the ear splitting screech of her alarm. Sleepily she stretched, yawned, rubbed her eyes then grudgingly got out of bed. She could her the high pitched squealing of the kettle as she tramped downstairs, she winced as she entered the kitchen from the bright light spilling in through the window. As soon as she saw her, Hannah's mum, Cathy, stood up and poured her a warm cup of tea.
"Morning sweetheart," She smiled as she went and meddled with the papers in the corner of the room.
"Morning mum." Hannah croaked, her voice still waking up from the night before, "I had that same weird dream again, I guess it's now affecting my sleep too," She sighed. Hannah had been having the same recurring dream the past few weeks, and honestly she was starting to think that she might be psychic due to the amount of films and shows she's seen about people who have experienced prophecies from having the same dream.
The dream itself though, confused her. It was if she understood details about it but at the same time knew nothing at all. The dream was of a family, a family that had been around for hundreds of years, without ageing. It was details like that which confused her, - how could she know these things if all she's seen is them in only one time? doing the same thing each time, it just didn't make any sense to her- In the dream she was in a dusty house with cobwebs dangling down from the vast antique chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. There was also a chipped wooden fireplace which was next to the two large doors opening out onto a large open balcony with ivy climbing around the railings. In the other end of the room there was a small wooden cot, around which the family were standing, also where the scene was unfolding.
"This is your fault Elijah!" growled a blonde man dressed in a dark grey shirt, his face was contorted in rage and anger. He was shouting at another man on the other side of the cot. This man had dark brown hair, his appearance was altogether more collected and polished compared to that of the blonde man, as well as his calm demeanour. I gathered that this man was Elijah.
"Hardly brother." breathed Elijah, his anger starting to show as he walked over towards the blonde man. His walk and posture was of someone of great power and nobility. Hannah liked to think that he was a brave warrior protective of his family and those he loved. "We are doing this to protect them," He retaliated, "Stop this nonsense, you know whats best." Silently both men looked towards the cot with sad eyes. Hannah knew that something was going to happen. Just as she suspected a woman with short blonde hair walked into the room. She nodded once at Elijah before fixating her gaze upon the cot.
She started chanting in a foreign language that Hannah had never heard of before. It was harsh, the words felt powerful filled with strength, it scared her. She could her the wailing screams of a young child from the cot. Hannah's heart started to pound -what are they going to do with her?-A strong wind started to pick up in the room and the blonde man bent towards the cot.
"Always and forever," the blonde man spoke tears rolling down his face, now forlorn. "We will find you again, I promise." The wind then picked up greatly until Hannah couldn't see anything but dust. This was when she woke up. Always then, nothing ever happened afterwards, the dream just ended.
Hannah knew this was just a dream, but she had the strangest feeling that somehow, some small part of her thought that there might be just a little bit of truth to her dreams.
But hey this is the real world. That doesn't happen in real life right?

Hannah walked down a cobbled walkway of London, gazing upon the beautiful autumn morning. She saw the towering houses around her, each house unique in its historical architecture. Some old with dark hollowing windows, others modern with light pouring out of them. Hannah sighed as she adjusted the strap on her school bag. She kept thinking about the dream and what it might mean.
As she turned a corner someone grabbed her bag and dragged her into an alleyway. She was pinned up against the wall with her attackers hand covering her mouth, immediately smothering all of her attempts of scream or yell for help. Hannah opened her eyes to see who was in front of her. She could not tell if they were a man or a woman, as they wore a balaclava over their head and loose fitting joggers. Her heart was pounding in the chest as sweat was dripping from her forehead -she was going to die this person is going to kill her- Hannah started to cry the tears silently rolling down her cheeks.
The attacker then slowly reached up and removed the balaclava from their face. Hannah attempted to scream again as she looked upon the face of her attacker. It was completely identical to her own, not a single detail was different, from her hair to her eyes, all exactly the same. Hannah thoughts were rushing all over in panic -how was this possible?- She knew she didn't have a twin, her parents would have told her -wouldn't they?
"Don't say a word," The girl whispered, slowly taking her hand off Hannah's mouth. "I'm Hazel Mikealson, your twin sister," she presented her hand, "Nice to meet you."
