Hannah woke up in a dark cellar. It smelled like damp and death. She was tied to a wooden chair, her arms bound behind her. Her dress was dirty and torn and her hair knotted. She knew with certainty that she looked like an absolute wreck at that moment.
A man walked out of the shadows. Hannah immediately recognised him as the man at the party. He was holding a golden glowing stone in his hand, and had a devilish grin on his face.
"Hello Hannah." She shivered his voice made her hair stand on end. "My name is Carlos. I'm not going to hurt you as long as you sit there and listen quietly, ok?"
"Well you didn't have to kidnap me." Hannah smiled at him mockingly. "If all you wanted to do was talk, you could have just called me." Carlos' smile widened, he was clearly surprised by her comment.
"Well, you see, I did." His smile faded into a frown. "Your family and I are not really on the best of terms at the moment, so if they knew I was talking to you..well..." He mimed slitting his throat. "You get the picture." He got a chair and sat in front of her. The smile returned. "Your family I believe told you a story about how you were sent away as babies from an imminent danger. I can tell from the look on your face that I'm right." Hannah said nothing but looked away. "Well, that imminent danger was not only a threat to you... it was you."
"What?" Hannah whispered in shock. What sort of danger could be caused by a two year old?
"You possessed an immense power, a very dangerous power." He continued pleased by her reaction. "You could control all four elements by using only your mind. You could move rocks, control the weather, start deadly storms and fires. Your family believed that your power was out of control. But like most things, they were wrong." He grinned. "They hired me, a trusted powerful warlock to move your power to an object, such as this stone." He held up the glowing stone. "After I had done this, I realised what a mistake this was, taking away your true potential. I tried to undo what I had done, place this power back inside of you. But that only angered them and so they sent you far away, away from my reach."
"B-but why have they allowed me back if your s-still a danger?" Hannah stuttered still shocked by this latest revelation.
"Well, they think I died a year after they sent you away. So I guess that means I can finish what I started twelve years ago." He stood up from the chair and looked down at her. "And place this power back inside its original owner." He placed the stone on Hannah's lap and began to chant. A sudden agonising pain seared through her body. She screamed for what felt like hours, as her body felt like it was set on fire.
Suddenly the pain stopped. Hannah looked down to the stone on her lap to see it a dull green colour, drained of all its power. Carlos began to laugh as he realised he had succeeded.
A wolf jumped out of nowhere and onto Carlos. It began mauling him and he was screaming in pain as he tried to push it off of him. Elijah appeared and began to untie her.
"You're safe now, you're safe now." He repeated in a whisper as he hugged her. Hannah's body felt weak and heavy. She tried to look up at Elijah but failed and instead collapsed in his arms drained from exhaustion.

Hannah woke up in her room surrounded by her family, looking down at her with worried eyes. Hayley sat next to her and smiled as she saw her awaken.
"How are you?" Hayley whispered calmly. Hannah still felt a dull ache in the back of her head.
"Fine, just a headache." Hannah rubbed her head and looked up. "I suppose you all want to know what happened?" Hayley nodded in response. So Hannah told them what Carlos said, what he did to her, and after she finished she looked up to see that their faces had fallen. Hayley looked up at Freya angrily.
"I thought you fixed this! Carlos was dead and the threat was gone." Hayley shouted. "I let you take my babies away from me for nothing!" before she could rip Freya's face off, Elijah got up and held her back. Tears streaming down her face.
"Carlos was dead." Klaus muttered, shaking his head. "I made sure of it myself."
"Well clearly you didn't do a very good job did you?" Kol replied sarcastically.
"Shut up! all of you." Rebekah shouted. "Arguing isn't going to fix this. It's happened now all we can do is find a way to make this work." She sighed. "She's older now, maybe she can control it better?"
"Someones going to have to teach her before she destroys us all."
"Hope!" Hayley exclaimed, shocked.
"What? someone had to mention it." Hope said in a huff.
"It's fine." Hannah sighed. "I'll learn to control it, I have to." Hannah looked at them all sternly. "For your sakes."
"Okay then." Freya chirped up placing her hands on her hips. "We'll start tomorrow, but now you need rest." No one seemed to argue as Hannah lay back down in bed. They all left and allowed her to drift silently into a deep sleep.
