2. Knight In ... Black Armor?

Phana POV.

"Ai'Beam, Ai'Kit, are you two done?" I yell calling my two best friends as I put the last chair on the table. Finally, the bar is closing for tonight. The customers tonight are a bit rowdy, but nothing that I can't handle.

"We are coming." Beam answer him as he exited the kitchen. As I am working as the bartender in this crappy bar, this two are working as cooks in the kitchen. 

"Ok. Let us go home now. I really see my bed is waving at me. Here Ai'Kit, lock the door please." I throw the key to Kit and he catches it just on time then goes ahead to lock the door. When we already sure that the door already locked, we walk heading home.

Oh, you guys must be wondering about us. My name is Phana Kongthanin. My height is 191cm, broad shoulder, fair skin, jet black hair, a really handsome face, and of course an alpha. I am 24 years old. Currently working as a bartender in a crappy bar called The Realm. I know right, what a crappy name. Who would name their bar as The Realm? Definitely not me. But too sad, the author thinks the name is soo great. Well done author. *Sarcasm overload*. My core? I am not gonna tell you guys what my core is, because you guys will get scared of me. Trust me, it happens a lot of time. So I tend to keep secret about my core's element. 

This two cute/pretty guys walking by my side are Beam and Kit. The one who is a bit taller is Beam, and the short one with dimples is Kit. They are also 24 years old. Beam is a beta, and Kit is an omega. Beam's core is water nymph, and Kit's core is wind. I've known them since 10 years ago after that tragic incident.  Our parents passed away in that incident, so the police place us in an orphanage with a few more kids that lost their parents in that incident. What is that incident? Ok, let me tell you. 10 years ago...

"Ai'Pha, do you hear that sound?" Kit sudden question pulls me out from my own narrative inside my head. Don't blame me if you are curious about that incident 10 years ago. Blame it on Kit since he is the one interrupting me.   

"I don't hear anything Ai'Kitty" Beam answer him. I try to listen. Since Kit's core is wind, his hearing is a bit more sensitive. He said that the wind whisper to him. Yeah, whatever. Not like I care much.

"Listen carefully Ai'Beam. It sounds like someone is asking for help." Kit says.

"Yeah. Now I heard it too. Let's go and check it out." We run toward the sound. When we nearing the source of the sound, we see a group of five men is trying to harass someone. I don't know if that person is a boy or a girl since he is wearing a cape and a face mask. But what I know, the said person is in danger if we don't help. 

"We need to help him Ai'Pha." Kit just take that out the words from my mouth.

"You two stay here. I'll handle them. When those men are distracted with me,  take that kid to a safer place. Understand?" I got a nod in reply. Without wasting any more time, I approach them.

"Hey. If you guys want to play, you should find someone your size. Not a little kid. Not to mention you guys are ganging up on that kid. What a bunch of sissies," I taunt them. And it looks like it is working. I can see veins popping up from their necks when I called them sissies.

"You better scram if you still value your life kid. This got nothing to do with you." One of the thugs threatens me.

"P-please help me mister.."I heard the kid pleas to me. Judging by the sound of his voice, that kid is a boy. When I look at him, I can see his doe eyes are breaming with tears.

"Don't worry. I'll save you nong." I flash him my best smile to calm him down. 

Watching me like that, the thugs become angrier and start to attack me. One of them trying to punch me with his fist covers in flame. "Ah, fire core. Scary." I say in a flat tone. As I dodge him, I hit him right on his neck and cause to faint right after that.
