4. Bring Them In!

Kit POV.

Phana just stands there. Keep looking at the direction where the prince just went with a longing stare. I nudge Beam and point my finger towards Phana. Beam just shakes his head. We already know that Phana has fallen in love with the prince since 10 years ago, after the incident. Back in the orphanage, he keeps looking information about the prince and every time there is an article about him in newspapers, he cut out the article and keeps it in a scrapbook. Even though he has toned down his obsession towards the prince because he knows that he and the prince are just impossible since we are from the slum and he is obviously a prince, he still keeps the scrapbook. Safe and secure in a metal box that is placed in a big wooden box under his bed. 

"You ok Pha?" I pat his shoulder to wake him up from his daydream. 

"He still cute  and kind like before Ai'Kit." Phana says with a longing smile crave on his face.

"Yeah, I know. He was worrying about you when we left you alone to handle those thugs even though he himself was still shaking with fear." Beam adds.

"Come on Phana. Time to go home. We still need to work tomorrow."

"You know Pha, you should have asked for money you know when he said he wanted to reward us. then maybe we don't need to work in that crappy bar that the author makes us work at." Beam tries to joke. *a/n: you are going to be demoted as a toilet cleaner after this Beam >:(  *

Wayo POV.

Next morning

I am having my breakfast with my father, The King. And right now, I'm sweating buckets. He keeps staring at me the entire time, an I, I just fix my gaze at my food. I know I'm so dead right now. This is must be because of last night. 

"Wayo, do you want to tell me why you sneaked out again last night?" Here comes the talk.

"eemm.. I just want to know how is the feel to spend a night in town without any bodyguards with me. Because of every time they are with me, people are just gonna bow their head and become stiff. I just want to interact with them like a normal person. You know, talking leisurely, laughing with them, chasing the kids around." Right now I'm just playing with my food.

"Huh... You are so much alike with your late mother, you know Wayo. She likes to interact with them like that too. That's why everyone like her." There is a small smile on The King's face. "I'm not mad at you Wayo. I'm just worried. How about this. Next time you want to go out, please bring N'Ming or N'Forth along with you, okay? They are not just your bodyguards right?" Hearing what the King says, Wayo feels so excited. Now he can go out of the castle.  

"Thank you, Dad! I love you soo much." Wayo kisses his dad's cheek. "I promise you, next time I'll bring those two with me." Wayo continues to slurping his breakfast. 

"Now tell me about your adventure last night." And Wayo starts to tell him everything. From how he enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake to the time when Phana and his friends rescue him.

"You know dad, that Phana guy is really strong. He didn't use his core at all to defeat those bad guys alone. Not to forget, he one-shot everyone. By the way, he did not even effected by my scent even though he was so closed to me. That shows how much he has control over himself." Wayo looks really happy when he talks about Phana and that makes the King curious.

"What his name again? If he is that strong, I really need to meet him. I also need to reward him and his friends for saving my naughty boy."

"His name is Phana, Dad. Oo, his two friends are strong too you know. Their names are P'Beam and P'Kit. P'Forth and Ai'Ming can't even touch them when they try to attack us. Like really. That was the first time I ever see someone block P'Forth's attack effortlessly. I did ask them if they want anything as a reward, but they just refused saying they saved me because they want to."

King Panitchayasawad POV

After we done with breakfast, Wayo goes to a training ground, watching Forth and Ming training. I head to my office chamber. Once I settle down, I call my assistant who is also our kingdom's strategist.

"Suthee, I want you to search someone for me and bring him and his friends to the castle. I want to meet them."

"Yes My King. May I know who?"

Phana POV.

It is 5 p.m. right now. I just got back from the gym when I notice there is an expensive car in front of my house that I share with Bean and Kit. I quicken my pace, afraid they do something bab with my friends. As I enter my house, I see a few people in suits sitting on our worn out couch.

"Oh! Pha, there you are. These people want to meet you. They won't tell us anything when we asked, saying that we must wait for you." Beam fold his arms in front of his chest with a scowl.

"Are you Phana Kongthanin?" One of the suited guys asks.

"Yes. That's me. Anything you want from me?" I look at them skeptically.

"I'm Advisor Suthee from the palace. I'm here to take you to palace since the king himself asks to meet you." To say I am shocked is an understatement. I look at my other two friends. Looks like they are as surprised as I am. Now I look closely at them, I notice there is palace insignia embroidered to their suits.

"May I know why?"

"The King will tell you himself about that."

"If I refuse?"

"we have to take you by force." The Advisor states calmly.

"OK. But my friends are coming with me." Hearing my reply, my friends immediately look at me. Don't get me wrong. I can beat this royal guard single-handedly, but I'm going to make the palace my enemy. Nobody wants that, especially if you have a crush on the prince. Totally not a good move. And my friends need to come with me because if the king wants to punish me, they need to go through the same things. That's what friends are for right?

At the palace.

"King, I already bring you the persons that you asked to look for." The Advisor bow to the King.
