46. Oh! No, You Don't! (P2)

Wayo POV

Elder Nate, steps closer to P'Pha's body and kneel beside him. She put her palm on P'Pha's wrist. "My Prince, N'Phana is still alive! I can still feels his pulse. Even though it is faint, it's there!"

Hearing what Elder Nate said, it gives me a surge of hope. There is still chance for me to save my beloved husband, Phana Kongthanin! I place my palms on P'Pha's chest and summon every ounce of my healing power in me. I will my power to flow into P'Pha's body. My palms start to shine in bright white light. But, no matter how I try, P'Pha still lay there lifelessly. I start to cry again.

My dad comes and hug me. "Son, you should let him go. I know it is hurt, but there is nothing we can do." My dad whisper to me, trying to sooth me down. But I am not going to let him go. Not now. I am not ready yet to lose him.

I wipe away my tears. "NO! I WON'T! Don't you dare dying on me P'Pha! Don't you dare! Not now! Not when I am pregnant with your child!"

With new determination, I try once again try to heal him.

I compose myself and start to chant a spell I have learnt during the time P'Pha made me learnt new spells."I open thee! The gate of heaven! Twelve gods of heaven, lend me thine power! GRAND BLESSING!" I push my limit and my eyes shine bright white light. The light on my palms shine brighter than before. I can feel my power flow into P'Pha's body, making his body glowing.

Looking at Wayo going overdrive, Kit stop crying, and Beam is back to his sense.

"Wayo goes into overdrive." Ming says to no one in particular, more like trying to make himself believe what he is seeing. Not just Ming, everybody who is there, can't believe their eyes. They always see Wayo as a fragile boy, but seeing him radiating out such a huge amount of aura the perception is about to change.

Maybe it is because his personality, or maybe because of his holy core, but the aura he is giving out is so much different than Phana. The aura Phana gives out when he is in overdrive will make everybody who feels it shiver in fear, but the aura Wayo is giving out make everybody feels warm and calm.

"Wake up P'Pha! Don't you dare to die now! You need to take responsibility for making me pregnant! Wake up!" Wayo put his everything on the line. The light on his palms shine brighter and brighter, swallowing the whole palace's ground in bright white light. 

Then I hear it. A low hoarse voice of P'Pha "Really?" P'Pha asks me. His voice is sore and just barely above a whisper. "You are pregnant?" His eyes flutter open slowly.

"P'PHA!!!"  I immediately hug him tight and start to cry on his chest. "Thanks god you are back." P'Pha sit up and hug me back.

With one hand around my waist, and another hand rubbing my back, P'Pha tries to soothe me.  "Shush...Please stop crying baby. Everything is fine now. I'm here." 

"PHA!!" P'Kit and P'Beam yell as they rush to hug Phana.

"Guys.... can't.... breath.....hug....too.......tight..."

"Sorry Ai'Pha" P"Beam apologies as he wipes his tears away.

"It is your fault. Who ask you die?" P'Kit back to his grumpy self. Everybody just look at them with a warm smile, relieve that P'Pha is save. 

"Baby, thank you for not giving up on me." P'Pha kiss me on my forehead. 

"Thanks god you are safe son. Thanks god" Even my dad tear up a bit, but he quickly wipe it away. "You should rest Phana. Wayo bring him to your chamber and let him rest. Beam, Kit, help Wayo to carry Phana into the palace." Then my dad look up ahead towards the palace, or at least where it was used to be. Then he realize that the palace is no more.

"Eerr...dad....sorry for that." P'Pha scratch his not-itchy nape. 

My dad rubs his temple. "It is ok Phana. But you are definitely grounded. So where should you bring him to, Wayo?"

"I'll bring him to the cabin by the lake."As I told my dad about my plan, I help P'Pha to stand on his feet. Looking how I struggle to help P'Pha stand, P'Beam and P'Kit immediately help me to support P'Pha.

"The others, help me to clean up this bodies." My dad give his command.

After a few minutes riding on the back of P'Kit's monstrous wind eagle, Me, P'Pha, Pkit, and P'Beam finally arrived at the cabin.  We help P'Pha to walk to our bedroom and lay him down on king size bed.

"Thanks guys for helping me." P'Pha says to P'Beam and P'Kit. 

P'Beam sit on the edge of the bed. He looks at P'Kit then at P'Pha. "Pha. We are sorry. Sorry because, again, we can only ran away." P'Kit also nods.

P'Pha push his body up to  lean his back on the headboard. "Hey...it is okay. It is no big deal. I am happy I can help and protect my family and friends. For you guys, I am willing to sacrifice  my life." He looks at us one by one with a warm and loving eyes. I immediately sit by his side and hug him tight.

"That's the problem Pha. We don't want you to sacrifice your life." P'Kit huffs. 

"But what can I do? You guys are so weak. I have to clean up your shit every time you guys cause some trouble." P'Pha jokingly whine. 

"Yah! You are in no condition to mock us right now! We can literally wipe the floor with you in your now!" P'Kit  mad, even P'Beam already rise his fist to punch P'Pha. Then P'Pha laugh making us laugh too. Hais...even in bad shape, this group of friends still manage to joke around like this. 

"Come on, Kitty. We should go. We need to let Pha rest." P'Kit nods and follow P'Beam out of the cabin.

As they are about to step out, P'Beam turns back to look at P'Pha. "Remember Pha. REST! No funny business with Wayo."

It makes me blush. "Don't worry P'Beam. If he tries something funny, I will just kick him in the balls." Hearing that, P'Pha immediately cover his ball as he shake his head, promising me he will behave.

When the two already fly back to the palace, P'Pha pulls me to lay beside him under the duvet making me giving him a scowl. 

"I promise you, no funny business. I just want to cuddle up with you." P'Pha says to me softly. So I, being a good wife, I lay beside him and cuddle up to him. I rest my head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.

"Were you serious, Wayo?" He asks me when I already in comfortable position.

"Hhhmm? What are you talking about P'Pha?"

P'Pha put his hand on my stomach. "You said you are pregnant?"

I blush. I don't know why, but I blush. I just nod.

"Really?!" 

"Yes. I went to see the royal healer yesterday because I was not feeling okay. After he check me thoroughly, he said I am pregnant."

"OO MY GAD!!!!! I AM GOING O BECOME A FATHER!!!"  He hugs me in a bear hug. He looks so damn happy and he is smiling so big and wide. "Thank you, baby! Thank you!" Then he shower my face with a lot of kisses. "How long already?"

"One month." I look at him in the eyes.

"One month?" His brow knitted, thinking. Then his eyes go wide. "So, It was during the 'punishment' after the tournament, right?" I nod, blushing.

"Aaawww~~~~My baby look so cute blushing." Again, he give me a bone crushing huge.

"Thank you baby. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive." P'Pha crash his lips on mine.
