40. Reminiscing

Sorry guys because I haven't update the story for a long time. Writer's block. I really really don't know what I should write to fill the gap before the wedding. So I am sorry if you guys think this chapter is crappy, because it is.

Beam POV.

I WILL MARRYING FORTH IN TWO DAYS!!!!!

OMG! I am so damn nervous!

Me, Kit, Pha, and Prince Wayo are inside a car going to a place that we have not visit for along time. At the beginning, me and Kit only want to go with Pha, because we want to spend our time together like before, before we are married. But Prince Wayo being a clingy mate, and Pha being his wiped self, bring Prince Wayo along with us. Oh well, what can we do.

So now we are in a car, heading to our old hometown at the edge of the kingdom. It is quite far. Normally it takes three hours to get there. Pha is driving and Prince Wayo takes the shotgun. Me and Kit sit at the back. At the begin, before we start our journey, I volunteered to drive, and Kit willing to be my co-driver, but this king-to-be, insist to drive. He said we need to rest since our weeding is just around the corner. See, this is why I said, Pha definitely will be a great king. He cares for his friends so much. No doubt he will care for his people as much.

"So, how are you two doing? Ok?" Pha asks as he looks at us through the rear view mirror.

"I am just fine. But Ming keep calling me whining about me not allowing him to see me before our marriage." Kit huff.

"Why did you do that in the first place, ai'kitty?" I asks him curious.

"Just because." Kit shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly.

"Our Kitty want to feel like a pure virgin omega when they officially married." Pha says then burst out laughing.

Hearing Pha remarks making Kit blush. "No you idiot!" Kit smack him behind his head. Me, Prince Wayo, and Pha just laught at Kit.

When our laugh subside, Prince Wayo asks me, "What about you, P'Beam?"

"I don't really feel anything. It just a stupid ceremony. Other then saying our vows, nothing is new to us. We already kiss, and we even already have sex together." It is my turn to pretent like I don't really care. But actually I am really nervous.

"What you said might be true Beam. But you know, being officially married to your love, the feeling is out of this world." Pha hold prince Wayo's hand in his while looking at him tenderly.

"Don't you two feel excited?" Prince Wayo asks us.

"Of course! Finally I can call Ming as mine." Kit says with a dreaming look on his face. But me, I'm not sure what I am feeling right now.

"We have arrived!" Phana announces.

All of us climb down the car. All we can see is an abandoned village. Most of the houses are in ruins. The burn marks are still visible. All this happen because of the Goa invasion.

Even though it happened 10 years ago, I can still remember it in my mind like it just happen yesterday.  The scream of the village peoples, the cry of the kids, the explosions that shook the ground. Everything keep playing back in my head. Looking at Pha and Kit lack of reaction, I know they are also thinking what happen in the past.

"I miss them." I voice out.

"Yeah. Me too." Kit says.

"Me too." Phana adds. "How I wish they were there at my wedding." Phana looks at Prince Wayo at his side with a longing smile and intertwine their fingers.

"Now I wish they are here to see me marrying Ming." Tears start to fall from Kit's eyes. Phana hugs Kit around shoulder to sooth him.

"Let's walk around." All four of us start to walk around the village. Reminiscing stories during our childhood in the village. How baby Phana always follow his dad with his teddy bear, how baby Kit and baby me always prank baby Phana, how baby me always asked baby Phana to do something for me. Oohh, good old time.

"But then, P'Pha, how come you are the boss if P'Kit and P'Beam always bullied you?" Prince Wayo asks Phana.

"Prince Wayo, back then, even though we always bullied him, but if something happen to me and Kit, both of us will come to see him. We will cling and whine to him until he agree to help us."

"Furthermore, he allowed us to bully him because me and Beam were bullied in school. No one dare to bully Phana in school though. So, we prank him just to release our frustration." Kit adds.

"We never really harm him. Just casual pranks like throwing water balls at him, and then blow him dry with cold air."

"He can easily deflect all that, but he never does that."

"Yeah. As result, our parents always pampered him so much. Saying that Phana is such a good kid to put up with our behaviour. Hupm." I cross my hands.

We stop at a T-junction. There stand three houses, or at least what left of them.

"This were our houses, Baby." Phana tells Prince Wayo.

"Now they are just rubbles."

"Yeah. But now we already got a better place to stay." Kit says. "Thanks Prince Wayo."

"He is right. Thanks Prince Wayo."

Phana pulls Prince Wayo closer and kiss his cheek. "We are grateful to you Baby."

Reminiscing our past make me realized something important, and I have made up my mind about my wedding.
