His Royal Guard (Completed)

10. Getting Ready

Phana POV.

It has been a week since we are here in the palace as Prince Wayo's personal bodyguards. Luckily his heat already ended. I am currently training Prince Wayo while Beam and Kit are training Forth and Ming. I currently trying to strengthen Prince Wayo's magical power, so that he can cast more powerful spells without exhausting him.

They still with their usual routine, making Forth and Ming try to land an attack on them. Even after a few days, it is still futile. Can't blame us though. We grew up in the slum, where you need to be strong if you don't want people to oppress you. Ming still tries his best to win Kit heart, but when in training, Ming will go soft on him which make him super mad. Yesterday Kit summoned a hurricane to hurl Ming far far away because he was so mad at him treating him like he is so fragile. 

Suddenly our training session is interrupted by a butler, saying that the King requested to see all six of us in the meeting chamber. Hearing that, we rush there. Worried something bad is happening.

"Dad, what is wrong?" Prince Wayo asks immediately as he enters the meeting chamber. We can see that we are not the only one called by the King. Also present are the Advisor Suthee, 1st Division Commander Korn, 2nd Division Commander Arthit, 1st Division Vice-commander Knock, 2nd Division Vice-commander Kongpop, and Elder Nate.

"Sit first, you guys." When all of us already seated, the King continues. 

"This is an emergency meeting. Earlier this morning, we received an information letter that says that the Goa Kingdom is going to attack us. When and where is still unknown. That's why I want you guys to stay vigilant." The King orders us in a serious voice.

"Commander Korn, I want you to take your guys and guard the royal capital area. Commander Arthit, guards the port. Vice-commander Knock, you and your guys are going to patrol the forest. Vice-commander Kongpop, take your people to the surrounding town and evacuate them to the royal capital. Understand?" As the reply, he got a "Yes Sir" from all four of them.

"What about the palace, my King?" Commander Arthit asks.

"Don't worry about the palace. Prince Wayo's personal bodyguards will be here. Is that okay with you guys Captain Forth?"

"Absolutely my King. We will protect the palace with all our might."

"N'Phana, stick with Wayo at all time. Understood?"

"Loud and clear my King. I'll protect him with my life."

After the meeting, Forth, Ming, and Prince Wayo request me, Beam, and Kit to continue our training session this morning. We gladly agree.

"But this time, we will push you guys harder. Is that okay?"

"We don't want it any other way, P'Phana." My prince answers me. Aaww~~ He is so brave. He will be a good king one day.

Then we start our hellish training session. Every day. By the end of each session, Forth and Ming can't even stand on their feet anymore. Way too tired. Beam and Kit make them train for 6 hours nonstop, without even a five minutes break, every day. That's not the only thing that is changed. This time around, instead of Forth and Ming attacking Beam and Kit, it is Beam and Kit that attacking them now. If they ask for a break, Beam and Kit will intensify their attack, sending blast after blast of water, and slice after slice of sharp edge wind towards them, to the point if they don't avoid it or counter it, they might lose their life. 

Prince Wayo got in a bit easier since I'm the one who trains him. I can never be ruthless toward him like how Beam and Kit do to Forth and Ming. I ask him to keep healing and buffing Forth and Ming using spells throughout the entire training. In the beginning, he can only last for about one hour. After a few days, now he can manage to last until the end of each session.

It is now the ninth day after the emergency meeting, Prince Wayo and I are walking towards the training ground. Prince Wayo looking confused when he sees that the others are just sitting around chatting.

"Hey, what are you guys doing? We should starts training now." Prince Wayo tries to look stern.

I pat his head. "It's okay, my prince. I'm the one who asks told them that we will not be training today." I give him a smile and I see he blushes a little.

"Why?"

"You guys have been training so hard. So today, give a chance to your body to recuperate. Furthermore, I think we need some bonding time. It has been a couple of weeks, but we barely know each other. Am I right, my prince?"

"Hhmm... okay if you say so." Prince Wayo sits beside Ming's left side since Ming makes Kit sits on his right side. I, of course, sits beside Prince Wayo.

"So Forth, tell me about yourself." I try to start the conversation.

"There is nothing interesting about me. My name is Forth. I am 26 years old. As you know, an alpha. Actually, I am Prince Wayo cousin. The King took me in after my parents died 10 years ago in the incident. But I'm not sad though. My parents died as warriors. I'm proud of them. That's why I trained so hard until I become the strongest guard in the kingdom. That is until you show yourself Phana." Forth. Oopps. I should start to call him P'Forth since now I know he is older than me.

"Oh, so we should start to call you P'. Right P'Baby Forth?" Beam tease him. P'Forth just rolls his eyes. 

"What about you Ming?"

"My name is Mingkwan. I am 22 years old. An alpha. My mother is a royal chef. And I am this Ai'Stupid Prince best friend as long as can remember." Ming tries to messing up Prince Wayo hair, making the prince swats away his hand.

"We only become friends because we were only kids in the palace. So we had to spend our time together. Not like I have any other choice, Ai'Shitty." Prince Wayo adds.

"And I love you to Ai'Stupid." Ming grins.

"So that's why you can get away with calling Prince Wayo as stupid even in front of the King. And also the reason why Prince Wayo is so comfortable with you that he drops the 'P'" Kit nods understanding.

"Don't worry P'KitKat. You are still my number one." Ming makes a heart at Kit which makes him blushes.

"So, what about you guys?" P'Forth asks us.

"Pha, can you do the honor?" Beam and Kit look at me.

"Ok. As you know, me, Phana Kongthanin, an alpha. This is Beam Barame, a beta. And this is Kit Inthochar, an omega. 24 years old. We are orphans. Our parents died in the same incident as P'Forth parents 10 years ago. Since then, we always got each others' back. We actually already meet with Prince Wayo 10 years ago." P'Forth, Ming, and Prince Wayo look at me expectantly. I just smile looking at the prince.
