Chapter Thirty One: Holding My Passport...

• Chapter Thirty One 

I was saying goodbye to Jesse and Leanne. I had had such a lovely last night with them I was almost glad that I was back in America. I picked up my suitcases turning inside into the airport. I was going home! 

Déjà-vu filled me but happier. 

"I'm sorry he didn't come!" Jesse shouted behind me. 

I gave him a big smile. "I don't care." 

I didn't care that Eli wasn't here to say goodbye. I didn't care. I wanted to shout it for everyone to hear.

Someone brushed past me knocking my bag out of my hands. She stopped, cussed me then walked out of the airport. 

I picked up my bag and walked on, I would brush that off because I was going home. No one was going to make this unhappy for me. Plus, she had gorgeous shoes. 

I loaded my suitcases onto the conveyer belt about to give the woman my passport. Where was my passport? I panicked. 

"Oi. Bitch." I looked around me to see who was being called a bitch when I spotted her from the corner of my eye.  

I screamed in my head. 

"Missing something." She sneered holding my passport. 

"Nice to see you too." 

"Why you here? Fucking Eli then fucking off again, are we?" 

"No, no just Grey Leonne." Raine's face told me everything that I wanted to know. I gave a little smile. "What no hug for your old friend?" 

Raine laughed. "Hell no. Not what after you did to me." 

Crossing my arms I asked. "And what would that be Raine?" 

"Made my life a misery, Eli was a mess after you left." 

I nodded. "I know." 

Raine laughed a little. 

"What are you doing back here?" 

"I saw Bindi was missing, I just had to help out an old friend." Smirking as she took my words, we both knew how to push each others buttons.

I thought she was in Australia? "That's the biggest amount of-" 

"I take it Eli's there too, wouldn't hurt to catch up with him. After our last conversation..." 

I boiled inside at the thought of Eli and Raine together. I wasn't jealous I was more angry for Bindi that Raine could use her disappearance to her advantage. 

"Well nice journey home." Raine smiled sweetly walking away dropping my passport on the floor as she did. 

I grabbed my passport and ran to the exit. I prayed Jesse and Leanne would still be outside. I didn't see the car so I walked to the taxis. I saw a crowd of people surrounding someone and headed towards them.

"Eden! What's wrong?" Leanne cried seeing me push past ten year old kids. 

"Change of plans, Raine's back. I'm not letting her take all the glory. I hate that bitch with a passion.' I growled. "I'd like to-"
