"Have you calmed down yet?" Alex asked walking behind me. I was currently sat on the sofa in the front room. It was past 8 o'clock in the evening. He leaned down the sofa, resting his elbows on the back cushions I had to pull my head to the side so he wasn't invading my personal space.

"Have you stopped acting like a child yet?" I asked closing the book I was currently reading. I didn't usually like to sit around and read but I had nothing else to do in this big boring house. I grabbed the first book in the study and brought it back here to read. Turns out it wasn't so bad.

Alex let out a sarcastic laugh, before walking around the sofa and sitting on the marble table in front of it. I looked up to him, surprised at his new attire. He wore a grey round neck t-shirt topped with a black leather jacket, black jeans and black sneakers. My eyes wondered back to his face. "You headed out?" I asked closing my book slightly.

"I am, a couple of guys told me about this bar just out of town and they were heading out there. You should come."

"I don't think going to bars is part of the mission" I said tilting my head to the side a little.

"Oh come on Watts it'll do us both some good." He slapped his hands onto his knees loudly before continuing to try and persuade me. "Haven't you been bored in this house all day? A couple drinks with me and that girl you had lunch with yesterday."

I pulled a face thinking it was Ruby. "Ruby? No thank you." I said opening the book again. But to my misfortune he placed his large hand on the page making me look up to him again.

"No, not that fücking cougar, the red head. I met her husband Cole just as I was leaving work and he was one of the guys that told me about it." I pushed his hand off my book, then looked at the clock hanging on the wall. "Weren't we supposed to blend in with the neighbours, if I show up alone I'm sure it'll look suspicious." He was trying to hide the smug smirk off his face. He knew his persuasive skills were working, only because he knew I'd go if it meant it would help the mission.

"A whole evening with you though." The thought did make me cringe, an evening of acting like a loved up couple. On one hand having them see us act that way will make it more believable, however spending time with Alex! Couldn't think of anything worse.

"Well I'm going either with you or without out you. Don't say I didn't try." He placed his hands on his knees again and pushed himself up from the table. I rolled my eyes at myself, knowing full well I was going to go to that bar with him.

"Wait..." I groaned. He looked down at me raising an eyebrow. "Give me half an hour." I said placing the book on the sofa. He had a pleased grin on his face as he sat down on the opposing arm chair. "Are you sure Charlottes going to be there because if I have to sit around with a bunch of drunk guys I will kill you when we get back." I asked before turning around and heading upstairs.

"I'm certain." He said looking down at his phone. I pursued my lips.

I got changed fairly quickly. I changed from my comfy leggings and baggy t-shirt to a pair of black skinny jeans, a white wrap blouse that tied into on the front left side, and a pair of black heeled sandals. Thanks to the swim I took earlier this afternoon my hair had taken permanent residence in curly town. I wasn't expecting to leave the house so I didn't straighten it, now it was in loose curls falling down my back. I grabbed by bag and my phone before making my way down the corridor.

"Are you ready yet?" Alex shouted from the front room as I descended down the stairs.

"You were the one that asked me remember." I answered entering the front room. Just like I left him he was on his phone. "Yeah we can go now." I added as he looked up. As expected he eyed me up and down. He tried to be quick about it, clearing his throat as he looked up at me.
