A.N: chapter hasn't been edited! I wanted to post it quick for you guys I'll edit it soon.

It had just hit after half 11 when Alex and I were getting ready to leave the house. I made my way down the stairs zipping up my black jacket when I saw Alex stood by the coffee table in the hallway checking that his gun was loaded. Just like me he was wearing all black, his outfit consisted of a black long sleeved t-shirt that fit his arms well, showing the outlines of his muscles. He matched this with a pair of black jeans and black trainers. He also wore a black cap, I liked the cap. It made his jawline look sharper for some reason.

He clocked his gun just as I reached the landing. "You ready?" He asked placing his gun into his holster. I checked mine and packed mine when I was upstairs. I had my gun secured in its holster tucked in my side. A throwing knife tucked into the secret sleeve of my boots and a small knife hidden in the buckle of my belt.

"Yup." I replied placing my hands in my jean pockets. Similar to him I was covered in black, my jacket was black along with my tank top. My jeans were black and my heeled boots too. Black was always been a colour we agents wear to stake outs. It allows us to blend in to the night well undetected. "I sent over the blueprints of the building to my phone." I said tapping my back pocket making sure it was there.

He nodded his head, heading to the door. I followed after him turning all the hallway lights but leaving the front porch ones on, giving the illusion we were sleeping. Just as we were I reached for the passenger door of Alex's car, a low cheerful giggle startled us. "Hey guys!" Charlotte said on the pavement. Alex and I shared a quick glance before we looked back at Charlotte with smiles on our faces.

What the fuck was she doing here

"Hi Charlotte!" Greeted her excitedly. I loved around the car towards her, stopping just in-front of her. "What are you doing up so late?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows.

"Oh we had a bit of an...emergency so I took a walk to the drug store." She had a big grin on her face. It was then that I noticed the small white paper-bag in her hands. She clutched it tightly as if it contained something precious.

"Are you okay?" Alex asked behind me, still standing by the car.

"I'm perfect...I hope." She answered enthusiastically before sounding unsure. I didn't know what was going on right now. I turned back to Alex, he looked at me mirroring my expression. Charlotte started laughing gaining back our attentions. "I just realised how shifty this all sounds." She said raising the bag a bit and pulling out the contents. "Pregnancy tests, Cole and I just realised I was late." She took out two boxes and raised them in our faces.

"Oh my gosh! Charlotte congratulations." I said pulling her into a hug. She hugged me back laughing.

"I haven't taken them yet but thank you."

"I know but still." I said pulling away. "Where's Cole? He let you walk around at this time alone?"

"All the best to you both Charlotte." Alex said walking around and giving her a side hug.

"He's at home panicking right now, he offered to drive but I said I wanted to walk alone. You don't understand how much I was praying before I saw you. I really really really want this guys." She said cradling the bag to her chest. I gave her a sweet smile looking at how hopeful she was. "I should get back before he starts worrying even more."

"Call me tomorrow." I demanded. It was clear that Charlotte and I were getting close and I liked having her company around, I felt the need to be there for her while she goes through this.

"Of course." She said grinning, and with a spring in her step she walked away to her house.

Alex and I shared another glance at one another before turning back to the car. Charlotte didn't ask why we were out this late? Nor did she question why we were dressed like a bunch of goth teenagers. Though I suppose we should be happy there weren't any questions asked. We climbed into the car, Alex on the drivers seat and me in the passengers.
