"I'm sorry this has been bugging me all day but what the hell was that story?" I asked closing the front door to "our" house. He walked ahead of me through the front room to the kitchen.

"What story?" A voice called from the sofa. I quickly placed my hand to my hip out of instinct ready to pull out my gun, that was under my sundress, but quickly dropped my hand when I saw a head full of curls and Zoe's confused face.

"When and How did you get here?" I asked.

She closed her laptop lid and pushed her glasses up to the top of her head. Alex walked out the kitchen holding a bottle of water and perched on the sofa next to her placing his feet on the coffee table. Instead of walking over and pushing his feet off it I settled with rolling my eyes at him. "You know for international spies you two might want to sort out that alarm system of yours. Didn't take long for Joe and I to get in." As if it was rehearsed. Joe appeared into the room wiping his hands on his jeans. My guess he had just been to the bathroom.

"We should really let HQ know about that amateur alarm system." He walked past me and threw himself onto the arm chair.

"What story?" Zoe asked glancing between Alex and I. I ran my hand threw my hair. There was to much going on in this very moment:

1- Alex was ignoring my question and had his dirty feet on the table.
2- Zoe and Joe had broken into the house.
3- This room was far too crowded, I hated being on group missions and right now I felt suffocate by the the three pairs of eyes focused on me.

"Nothing it doesn't matter, how come you're here?" I answered taking a seat on the sofa adjacent to the one she was sat on.

"Well Joe and I were looking up the companies past profits and investments and we came across something unusual." She opened the lid to her laptop and began typing before turning her screen to Alex. He placed his bottle of water on the side table, before pulling the laptop to his lap. "They seem to have steady numbers every month, and their profits increase only buy a couple thousand. But we noticed that every three months or so their numbers almost quadruple. Look at last years, April, July, October, January this year, April and this months hasn't been reported yet but I'm can bet their numbers will increase too."

"We looked into where the money comes from, took a bit of time. Encrypting isn't easy-" Joe started to brag but got cut off by Alex.

"We didn't ask how hard it was just tell us the name." Alex said rolling his eyes at his partner. Joe and I shared a quick eye roll before he continued.

"The money comes from an offshore account every three months which if we are correct links to the times that The Captain said the arms deals go down."

"If this months numbers have been published then that means the deal hasn't been completed." Zoe added closing her laptop. She was so clever, I admired how she could solve just about anything and everything.

Once Zoe and Joe left I did what loved to do, spend my day in the gym working out. I typically spent about 2 hours a day in the gym. It lets me take out all my emotions that I was taught to hide. It also lets me escape, but today this gym session brought me back to reality. After spending what felt like eternity at that BBQ with suburban soccer mums, I needed to fell like myself again. I started out on the tread mill, then the weights then some workouts, a couple minutes on the chest press, then the pull down before spending time on my all time favourite the punching bag.
