✡️Joslynn's POV✡️
"I can't believe that all this time, your mother allowed that man to do such things to you! I'M GONNA KILL HIM!" My dad yelled.
After our little reunion, I then began telling Johnathon, who I now call 'dad', about my not-so-great life. He was beyond furious, his fists were clenched, his face red with anger, and if you look closely, his eyes darkened. Alisa, now treated like my sister by my dad, was trying to calm dad down. He wanted to thrash his office, call the police, get a gun...he was extremely angry. Never mess with his family.
"It's okay," I told him, rubbing his back. "mom has paid for whatever she's done to me. As for Joe, Ace dealt with him."
"Ace?" His ears perked up at the mention of a guy's name. "Who's he?"
"That's my brother, pops." Alisa answered.
Did I mention that Alisa started calling MY dad pops?
"He saved me from Joe." I began to explain. "If he wasn't there on time, I might be dead."
"I have to thank this Ace when I meet him." Dad made a mental note to himself. "But right now, I have to contact the police. I'm sending out a search team for this man."
"Dad, you don't have to do that." I told him, and stopped his hand from reaching out to his phone. He held my hand.
"Joslynn, this man is a criminal, he deserves to rot in jail for everything he has done to you." He told me with a sympathetic tone. "If he's free out in the streets, he can attack you. I can't risk that, I don't want my daughter to get hurt."
"He's right Jossy." Alisa supported dad. I agreed.
"I don't want to see his face, hear his name, I don't want anything to do with that man." I told her.
"I'll make sure of that." Dad assured. He went to his desk where he took a seat in his original chair.
"I think we should be going." I told both Alisa and my dad. "I'll visit soon, I promise."
"We both will!" Alisa corrected.
"Yeah," I rolled my eyes. "we both will."
"Before you go, I hear you don't have a phone." He rose from his chair.
"Yes, so?" I asked him. He pressed a buzzer and his secretary came into the office, holding a small, black, rectangular shaped box.
"Your package has arrived sir." She informed with a fake smile.
I hated that woman.
"Yes, that's for my daughter." Dad pointed to me. His secretary seemed surprised when he introduced me as his daughter.
"Yes sir." She nodded and approached me. She extended her hand, giving me the box. I accepted it with a true, and sincere smile. She returned a weak smile and exited the office.
"What's this?" I asked as I began to open the box. I brought out a brand new iPhone 7 Plus. I gaped at the phone and stared blankly at my father.
"Like it?" Dad chuckled at my amazement.
"Hey! I have a phone just like that." Alisa commented as she brought out her own, putting hers next to the one in my hands to compare.
"Dad, thank you so much!" I ran and hugged him. "But this is too expensive, I can't-"
"Nope!" He cut me off. "You're my daughter, this is the least I can do for you. After all these years, I have a lot to do to make up for lost time."
"Dad." I began to tear up and I hugged him again. "Thank you so much!"
"My number's in it, call me anytime." He told me. I nodded.

"She's hot." A strong, male voice commented.
"Why do you always notice a girl's hotness first?" Another male voice asked in annoyance.
"Then what do you want me to notice? Her ass?"
"Don't act as if you already don't."
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING IN HERE?!" Alisa screamed. I winced at the sudden noise and clenched my eyes tighter.
After Alisa and I returned back to her house, that I now call home, she suggested that I take a nap. I agreed since I couldn't keep my eyes open. I tried drinking coffee, but my body refused to accept the caffeine and it wanted to sleep. I needed sleep. I didn't know why I was so sleepy, I had a full night's rest, a heavy breakfast, not to mention that coffee again; I drank at least three cups. I slept on the sofa, but now I'm regretting my decision.
"Can't a girl sleep in peace?" I asked as I opened my eyes slightly.
"Not in this house." Alisa answered. I sat up and stretched my arms with a long yawn. I rubbed my eyes and realized that there were three guys surrounding me.
"Why are they staring at me?" I asked Alisa.
"They're idiots that have never seen a girl in their entire life." She answered with an annoyed groan. "Can't help but feel sorry for them."
"Stop being mean!" Jacob pouted.
"Stop being an idiot!" Alisa retorted.
"You know I can't!" He yelled back.
"Ignore them." Tyler said as he crashed next to me on the sofa. He placed his arm around me and scooted closer. "So what's your name, beautiful?"
"Uh, no thanks." I chuckled and removed his arm. I got up and went into the kitchen. Not as if she noticed since she was too busy arguing with Jacob. In the kitchen, I bumped into Ace; literally. I held onto his shoulders and he caught hold of my waist to balance me.
"Sorry." I bit my lip. We let go of each other when we realized we were really close together, and I took a step back.
"Be careful next time." He said with a bit of concern and annoyance in his voice. He passed me and went out of the kitchen.
