✡️Joslynn's POV✡️
"How are we gonna get her into the car?" Alisa asked. I was in a wheelchair and I was rolled out of the hospital and to the car. However, they didn't quite figure out on how to carefully place me into the car without exerting myself.
"I'll handle this." Ace said and approached me. I didn't have any idea on how he was gonna place me into the car, but I realized after a few seconds. He lifted me off the wheelchair bridal style, I'll admit I was comfortable. He carried me into the car, and gently put me down.
"Thanks." I told him with a slight blush.
"No problem, just take care of yourself." He told me with a small smile. He backed out, and closed the door.
"Thanks Ace." Dad said to him. He nodded.
Dad got into the car beside me, he looked at me with an encouraging smile. The driver sped off and I relaxed into my seat, I stared out the window to pass the time. Dad already got himself busy and took out his laptop, he typed away and every few seconds he'd looked at me ensuring I was alright. The ride was quiet, except for the occasional coughs from me. It wasn't until we were five minutes away that he talked.
"We're almost there. Aren't you happy to see your siblings?" He asked.
"Very. What are their names?" I asked with an enthusiastic tone.
"The twins are Janice and James, and the younger one is Mason."
"I can't wait to meet them!" I squealed excitedly.
"They're very anxious to meet you." He told me with a soft smile.
"I am too!" I told him with a big smile. "How old are they?"
"The twins are twelve and Mason is four."
"And your wife?" I mentioned. "What's her name?"
"Sophie, she's very nice. I'm sure she'll love you." He assured with an encouraging smile.
We arrived at the gates of his huge house, I was awestruck and I couldn't wait to get inside and explore - I'm very curious, it's in my blood - I also couldn't wait to meet my siblings. I hope they like me, I hope I'm a good big sister. The gates opened and revealed a gorgeous front yard, with beautiful flowers and decor. The car drove up front where I was greeted with black double doors. The driver opened my door, and I was gently led out by my dad. I limped to the doors, my dad supporting me. The doors were opened and lined up were the James, Janice, Mason and Sophie.
"Guys, this is your older sister, Joslynn." He announced. "Treat her well and with respect."
Janice and James came up to me, I could tell they were confused and in thought, yet they kept on a smile. They all shared similar features of our mother, I just wish they don't know anything about her.
"Dad told us that we're blood." Janice stated, looking at me. "He said we knew each other when we were a lot younger."
"Yes we did." I answered her. "You two were just babies."
"How is our mother?" James asked. I paused a minute and looked at dad. He sighed.
He hasn't told them.
"I'm sorry," I told him with a small frown. "she's died a while ago."
"Oh." Was all he said.
He wasn't affected by the news, he shouldn't be. After all, she made no attempt to fight for their custody or even tried to be a good mother. Janice was in deep thought but quickly snapped out of it.
