✡️Joslynn's POV✡️

"I didn't want to come to school today!" Alisa groaned as she entered the school's halls. I had to drag Alisa off her bed, splash her with a bucket of water, and basically forced her to get ready for school.

"Alisa, we have our final exams next week, you need to come to school!" I reminded her with a warning finger.

"Okay mom!" She teased. I glared at her.

"Hey ladies!" Tyler greeted. Jacob and Devin were behind with smiles on their faces. "Can I walk either of you to class?"

"No thanks." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Why not?" He whined. "You didn't even tell me your name!" I laughed.

"Where's Ace?" Alisa suddenly asked in alarm. "Isn't he with you guys?"

"No, we thought he was with you." Jacob answered.

"Why? What's wrong?" I asked in confusion.

"Ace can be a little mischievous when he's alone." Devin answered.

Wow! That was the first time I've ever heard him talk.

"A little?" Jacob questioned with a scoff. "He's more mischievous - not to mention violent - than me!"

"I'm sure he's okay." I shrugged. They looked at me as if I were crazy, then they all started laughing hysterically.

Did I say something funny?

"What?" I asked with a confused smile.

"J-Jossy, that sentence doesn't...shouldn't be used to describe Ace." Alisa said as she was calming down from her laughing fit.

"So your name is Jossy!" Tyler exclaimed as if he had just won the lottery.

"Joslynn." I corrected him.

"Even better." He said with a sexy smirk. Jacob slapped him behind his head. "OW!"

"Now is not the time to flirt with a girl, we gotta go find Ace!" He told Tyler in a commanding tone.

"Since when you became mature?" Tyler grumbled.

"Since Ace crashed my car into a pond. NOW LET'S GO!" Jacob roared. Tyler straightened up and became scared of Jacob's superiority, Devin was more or less calm and normal, as usual.

"We'll see you guys later." Jacob said as he and the guys ran towards the exit. Alisa looked at me worriedly.

"I'm sure they'll find him." I encouraged her. "He'll be fine."

"What part of this is fine?" Alisa asked me in annoyance as she stared at her brother through iron bars of a prison cell.
