'Nijia .. but she looks exactly like La'Niya.' I told both Avery and Erin who looked at me as if I was crazy. I'm not just seeing stuff, that girl looked just like La'Niya.

'Dope-'

'No, no. You lookin at me like I'm crazy. I ain't crazy, that girl looks just like Niya.'

'Angelo.' Erin fiddled with her fingers and stepped up to me. 'We know you been having a rough couple of weeks honey but have you gotten any sleep ?'

I haven't been sleeping really nor eating but that isn't an excuse for what I saw. And they weren't about to put that on me.

'No but -'

'No ? .. Well you can take a nap on our couch for a moment and I cooked if you're hungry.' She brought me to the couch and let me sit.

'Yea man, not sleeping ain't healthy.' Avery nodded while giving me a look. It was like I was being babied and I couldn't get a word out to them without sounding like I was insane.

'I'm serious y'all she looked just like La'Niya. '

I started to lay my head down on their couch and instantly dozed off.

'What ?' Erin asked in confusion.

'What is she doin out here ?' I thought aloud.

'Who ?' She asked with an attitude because I wasn't telling her anything for real.

'Mmm.' I grumbled, moving around on her lap with my eyes closed, mad because she was waking me up.

'I know the sex of our baby.' She cooed, tugging on my shirt.

My eyes slowly opened and I sat there, waiting to gather the strength to want to get up.

'What is it ?'

'Look at meee.' She whined.

I turned around, looking up at her and started to play with the loose strands of her hair that were out of the messy bun she had in. 'Wasup ?'

'You want me to tell you ?'

'I wouldn't have turned around if I didn't. '

Niya rolled her eyes at me and kissed her teeth. 'Never mind.' She closed the laptop and set it aside.

'Baby.' I mumbled and kissed at her belly. 'Quit that attitude.'

'Shut up Kenny.' She sighed and pushed me off of her before getting up and walking away.

'What chu doin all that shit fo ?' I asked her.

'Cause you always gettin on my fuckin nerves !' I heard her shout from the kitchen. She was more than likely in there crying.

I stood up from my place on the couch and went into the kitchen, finding La'Niya in there eating some cookies and crying.

'Baby.' I said, wiping her tears and putting her snack down before giving her a hug.
