I woke up under the kitchen table. I was surprised at first because I thought I was still at Kenny's, but somehow I ended up at home under my damn table.

'Hey-'

'Fuck.' I jumped up at the sound of Auyden's voice and hit my head against a chair leg.

Auyden sat in front of me and laughed. 'What are you doin?'

'Shit, um .. is Erin up?'

'It's three o'clock.'

'In the morning?' I looked up at her.

'In the afternoon.' She giggled.

'What?' I lifted up and hit my head again before struggling to get from under there. When I stood up Erin was standing there sipping on a cup of Starbucks through the straw.

'Shit.' I mumbled under my breath.

'Morning baby.' Was surprisingly all she said before coming to kiss me on the cheek and walking past me to sit down.

I scratched the back of my neck and looked at her with my eyebrow raised. I thought I would've been getting hit by now, or questioned at least. 'No, it's the afternoon.' I corrected her before winking at Auyden who just had an amused look on her face.

'Oh you got that information from the other side of the table Chandler ? It's a clock down there or somethin ?' She asked but I knew that she was just being sarcastic. 'You don't even remember what happened last night do you?'

'I remember getting here.' I lied.

'No you don't, you were sleep when I came and got you. Kenny and Angelo helped me carry you to the car.' She sighed. 'You called me last night from Kenny's and asked if I was gonna buss it open for you when you got home .. at two in the morning.' She said in a stern way.

'Then, when I came to get you, you made me go to three different stores to get you food and when we got in the house you didn't even eat it. You climbed under the kitchen table and told me to shut up so you could sleep.'

Everything went silent for about a minute before I spoke. 'Baby-' I tried to reach for her hand but she moved it away.

'Move Avery.'

She stood up and grabbed a bottle of water out of the refrigerator and some Tylenol out of a cabinet before handing it to me. 'Get yourself together and then come talk to me.' She left out, leaving me stuck there.

'Ooo.' Auyden teased.

'I'm calling you every day a'ight.' I told  my momma as I walked her and MawMaw to their flight.

'Okay baby. I love you so much.' She teared up and hugged me before kissing me on the cheek.

'Love you too ma .. love you MawMaw.'

'I love you more boy.' She cheesed. 'Blessings to the family.' She blew me a kiss.

After they got on the plane I left and made my way back home. When I got in Nyier was laying on the couch with the kids, sleep while they watched Spongebob. They seemed all into it so I took my phone out and took a picture. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a Sprite before going back into the living room and sitting on the couch. Milo climbed onto my lap and laid his head on my chest, I guess he was sleepy.
